Trump corrects political prosecution.

FLYNN FIRST VICTIM, STONE LAST OF RUSSIAN HOAX

IT DOES TAKE COURAGE TO DO THE RIGHT THING

Judge Blames Roger Stone for Roger Stone's Problems, Refuses to ...

On Friday President Trump commuted the 4 year sentence of Roger Stone. It was a politically risky move, but it was the right thing to do. Stone, a long time republican supporter who has worked for every republican candidate since Richard Nixon was arrested as the last act of the Mueller investigation. It was an orchestrated media event, with dozens of heavily armed FBI agents and an exclusive invitation to CNN to capture the arrest for television. 67 year old Stone and his wife were awakened in the dead of night with more heavily armed men than the killing of Osama Bin Laden.

It seemed to be more of an act of frustration by the Mueller's democrat investigators that they had not yet been able to force Trump from office or find a impeachable offense to charge Trump. Stone was a Washington fixture for decades as a Republican supporter and a lobbyist for many important entities and corporations. He has often supported non establishment candidates and was a flamboyant and outspoken personality. He had many friends and also enemies in Washington on both sides of the political spectrum.

Originally the Department of Justice wanted a 9 year sentence for Stone which was acknowledged by most as an excessive sentence for his convictions. All his charges stem from the fake Russian collusion hoax. Stone refused to grovel before Mueller's biased investigator's and they were hell bent on vengeance.

Of all the indictments of the Mueller probe only Paul Manafort had any charges not related to the process of the Mueller investigation. Even the charges brought against the so-called Russian hackers were never brought to trial, even when the lawyers for the Russians asked for a court case. The Mueller team refused to hand over any discovery to their lawyers and the trial never went forward. In effect, the DOG dropped the charges. It was just another media event.

Michael Flynn was the first victim of the Russian investigation. He was in effect run out of money, sold his home and threatened with the arrest of his son. Very similar tactics as are used by the cartels and mafia. He pleaded guilty to a charge of lying to the FBI to make it all go away. It was later revealed that the charges were brought when they knew it was a lie and they withheld exculpatory information from his lawyers. He then tried to change his plea. The DOJ then moved to drop the charges, but the Obama appointed trial judge has refused to do so, even after being ordered by the appeals court. This matter is still being run through the courts.

The biggest mistake the Trump associates made was to believe they had committed no crimes and willingly talked to the FBI and DOJ attorneys. They actually believed they were acting in good faith and believed in the American system of justice. They would have all been better off to refuse to have any interaction with these people. Little did they know the extent that the coup would go to force Trump from office.

While it was a political risky move by Trump, it was the right thing to do. Convicting these people of process crimes in their investigation of a hoax, which it has been revealed they knew was a hoax, was an abuse of power. This act only righted a wrong, but it does not remedy the pain, financial lose and stress inflicted on innocent people.
