GIVE CALIFORNIA WHAT IT WANTS
LET THE NINTH CIRCUIT RULE THE DAY
Last week Attorney General Jeff Sessions sued California for not enforcing Federal Law when it come to illegal criminal aliens. This matter, of course will next be heard by the U.S. Ninth circuit court. This court is notorious for obstructing any claims by the Trump administration. They will unlikely side with the administration on this matter. The usual next step would be to appeal to a higher court, but it may be time to give California what it wants.
Why not let the ninth court prevail, and then pull border security from southern California, placing those border patrol personnel on the borders of California with Arizona, Nevada and Utah. Keep the TSA people at the airports making sure no undocumented fly out of California. This would be a first step. Let California decide how it will police its southern border. The money saved could be used to increase security on other border areas.
Next, allow the other states in the country, many who have substantial numbers of illegal aliens in their jails, that maybe they should contract with Greyhound and send them to a state that has declared their love for criminal illegal immigrants. It would be a financial boon for any state that may be able to eliminate 20% of their prison population.
Next, propose to California that the Federal government is more than willing to transfer all illegal federal prisoners to the great state of California. Let them vote if they are willing to take them in. Maybe even entice them with a cash reward for any that they agree to accept.
Instead of continually fighting with California , maybe it is time to allow them to have the state that they desire.
