U.S., Russian relations key to global stability

U.S. , RUSSIAN NEGOTIATIONS BEGIN

POSSIBLE CLASSIC WIN, WIN DEAL

Image result for russia U.S. ukraine

In the last few days we have seen polite saber rattling by Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. Talk of a renewed cold war and an escalation of nuclear arsenals is a very unlikely result. While there are some in the U.S. establishment, and I am sure in the Russian as well, who long for the glory days of the cold war, it is not really on the agenda of Vladimir Putin or Donald Trump. Putin needs to increase the economic viability of the Russian economy, Trump wants to stimulate the real economy of the United States. A cold war would not be in the best interest of either.

We can expect to see tweets and speeches that will make many on both sides anxious, We can expect to see the anxiety level in the Ukraine be increased. Then we can expect to see a deal were the Ukraine situation will be solved, probably with guarantees by the Ukraine to respect the rights of Russians in eastern Ukraine, a right to join the EU, even though they may be having second thoughts about that, a monitored referendum vote  by the citizens of Crimea, a pledge by the U.S. of not accepting Ukraine into NATO or any further expansion of NATO. This of course is all open to negotiation, but it is in the best interest of the Ukraine, Russia and the U.S.

The result of such a deal will allow the sanctions on Russia to be removed by the U.S. and the EU. This could result in the opening of the vast resources of Russia to be developed with the help of European and U.S. companies. This would be a plus for the U.S., EU, and Russia. The normalization of relations with the Ukraine is a must for the Ukraine as Russia was its largest trading partner. It is also dependent on energy from Russia. Both Russian and the Ukraine has suffered from the conflict and both should be ready for a new normalcy.

What is needed is the type of respect that was shared between the U.S.and Russia during the Reagan era. It was a pragmatic type of respect that has been lost by harsh words by many in the U.S. continually attempting to humiliate Putin and the Russian people. Putin and Russia should be afforded the same kind of respect that our politicians are willing to give to Fidel Castro and the leaders of Saudi Arabia and China. While having disagreements and accepting differences in cultures, the U.S and Russia have many more parallel interests than conflicting interests.

If such a deal could be made, many more things could be possible, such as a unified attempt to settle the Syrian civil war and the elimination of ISIS,  increased leverage in negotiations with Iran and China, and a more prosperous Russia and the United States.

While the difficulties with the Ukraine situation are complicated and difficult, it is in the best interests of all to find a solution.  New players and open minds may be just what is needed.

Effects of psychological warfare

HOW TO COPE WITH POST ELECTION STRESS

MORE DISCUSSION IS NEEDED, NOT LESS

Image result for post election stress images

Now that the election is almost 2 months in the past and all the recounts, electoral college votes, scapegoating are over, it is time to move on. Many will now be coming together with family and friends for the holidays, often having voted for different candidates in the election. Are you going to avoid speaking of the election or discussing anything of substance for the foreseeable future, is it just too painful to deal with? What is really needed is more discussion, not less, but there should be a few ground rules beforehand. The candidates and their personalities should not be discussed, labels need to be thrown out,  judgments on the character of voters should not be made. What does need to be discussed are the issues and how to accomplish the things that more people may be in agreement than they realize.

It is true that this election has been the most contentious, entertaining, emotion arousing election of out lifetime, so far. Whether you like it or not, issues that have been simmering for decades where brought to the surface. All voters have been subjected to psychological warfare, by the campaigns and the media like never before. These tactics have an emotional effect that does not end with the election. It was primarily an election of voter suppression, not an honest debate about issues. Many voters are still suffering from this onslaught. Both sides are equally guilty. The actual vote count is actually lower than some previous elections, voter suppression was successful.

I believe that if people of good faith, decide to discuss the issues that are important to America we will find that we may agree in more areas than we think. We may disagree on how to accomplish our goals. We are all Americans and we should be able to see what has not been working, and what has. We need to put aside self interest and make an effort to listen to and understand both sides of an issue. We see where the media and some political operatives want to continue to stoke the flames of division, this will not help any of us or the nation. There will be some issues where there will be disagreement. It is healthy that many of these debates have been brought out into the open, without debate there will be no solutions. Nothing should be off limits. We often hear from some that we need a discussion about this or that, but as soon as someone voices opposition to the political correct point of view, the labels are applied and the discussion ends. If you are old enough to vote, you should be old enough to have an honest debate.

Payback is a bitch!

WHY WOULD FOREIGN COUNTRIES INTERFERE IN U.S. ELECTIONS?

WHEN YOU PLAY THE GAME SOMETIMES YOU LOSE

Image result for u.s. interference in foreign elections
Obama, the Democrats, and the Clinton campaign are outraged that a foreign government may have interfered in the U.S. election by hacking e-mails of the Democratic committee and the Clinton Campaign and forwarding them to Wikileaks. They claim they believe it to be the Russians and their motive was to help Donald Trump win the election. Well, if you want to start talking about foreign governments interfering in the election process of other governments, you don't have to look any further than the Obama administration and also the state department under Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and John Kerry..
You can start with the U.S. government support of the ousting of  Victor Yanukovych, the elected leader in the Ukraine in 2014. The Ukraine situation is a complicated matter, The EU led by Germany would like the Ukraine to align itself with the EU. The U.S. would like to have the Ukraine as a member of NATO. The Russians oppose this set up. The Ukraine also has not been able to pay for the energy that it is dependent on from Russia. The U.S. Assistant Secretary of state Victoria Nuland arranged for the investment of $5 billion of support through the National Endowment of democracy to fund 65 projects for the training of activists, journalists and business groups to support the EU, U.S. position. The U.S. also had activists oppose the secession of Crimea from the Ukraine in the same year.

It was also a fact that starting in 2008 the U.S. government funded the training of Egyptian activists to assist in the overthrow of the Mubarak government of Egypt in 2011. They also supported the election of  Mohamed Morsi and the Muslim brotherhood that followed. Many of these people were eventually detained by the Egyptian Military and their release was negotiated by the U.S. government.

Then, of course, there was the 2015 Israeli election, where Jeremy Bird the National field director of the 2012 Obama Campaign, through a U.S.funded non-profit group One Voice, attempted to defeat Benjamin Netanyahu as leader of Israel.

So these are just some of the examples of U.S. attempts to interfere in the elections of foreign countries in the Obama/Clinton years. This has given many players the motive to pay-back the Obama administration for their activities. These countries all have the ability to perform these activities. It is doubtful any would know for sure that the Trump administration will be beneficial to them, but they did know that an extension of the Obama Administration would not be in their best interest. It is not unusual for hackers, scammers and political operatives to rent servers in Russia and the Ukraine to hide the identities of the real players. It is true that good hackers are never found out, only amateurs.

Reorganization, Student achievement, taxes

NORTHWESTERN LEHIGH SCHOOL BOARD DEC. 7 MEETING

Image result for school board meeting

The Northwestern Lehigh school board stayed with the present President, Willard Dellicker and Vice President, Paul Fisher for the 2017 term. No other changes of board duties were decided at this meeting.

There was a presentation on Student achievement, it showed  a positive increase in achievement in the middle school and high school. This information can be viewed by clicking on the link for the school at the right of this page and clicking on Board Docs and then on the Dec. 7 meeting, then agenda, and then on student achievement.

Mr. Fisher suggested that the board consider preserving all videos and audio recordings of meetings. He also asked that Berkheimer Ass. would be asked to report on the Earned Income Tax receipts on a quarterly basis and also to broaden the analysis to have a better view of the status of the taxpayers of the district.

Former board member Joe Reiter brought to the attention of the board that a recent article in the Morning Call concerning the proposed building project misstated the effects of the proposed tax increases. It stated that the increase would be around $60. a year. But the reality is after 3 years, taxes on a $200,000 home with a 2% increase for 3 years would be an additional $195.00 a year. This would raise the present tax of $3192.00 to $3387. per year.  He also suggested that the Senior citizen and low income tax rebate be tied to the Act 1 Index, as after a few years of tax increases the rebate would be eaten up by the tax increases.

All citizens are welcome at all meetings held at the school, see the school webpage for the dates.

Every Matador needs a bull, the angrier the better

COME Onnnnnnnn, CALIFORNIA

TRUMP HASN'T EVEN WAVED THE RED FLAG YET

Image result for bull fighting trump

President-elect Trump most likely is ecstatic. California has now volunteered to be the first major foil for his presidency. They are attempting to pass legislation that states they will not cooperate or assist in the deportation of any illegal immigrants on a statewide basis. It doesn't  matter if they are career criminals or not. This amounts to making California a sanctuary state. The California bull is snoring and pawing the ground, but we will see if more reasonable heads prevail. California in their puffed up, out of touch, better than everyone attitude is about to embark on a game they cannot win. While this may not be the first item on the Trump administration agenda it will be addressed. They are a bull without horns. The rest of the states, who don't view them in the same light as they view themselves, will more likely watch and cheer as the matador proceeds to stick this bull with banderillas, one after another, until they realize they cannot win this contest and cry uncle or should we say, Donald.  Of course the bull will in the end be spared and welcomed back into the fold. The Matador will be a hero to the rest of the country and the precedent of Federal power as it pertains to immigration will be preserved.

I am a states rights advocate.  I believe if we would have left many issues up to the states we would have a more united country. The framers in their wisdom knew that not every state would see everything the same. The 10th amendment would be a restraint on the Federal Government and a relief valve that allowed people to live in a state that represented them. However, there is a clear constitutional right of the federal government and the congress to set the laws and standards for immigration. Not long ago, the federal government sued Arizona to refrain from enforcing immigration law, even when they were abiding by the rules set in Federal law. California cannot set up its own immigration laws. The FBI has records of every arrest and conviction, they have the information they need to deport illegal criminals. Will California refuse to send arrest and conviction records to the FBI?, I don't think so. All background checks in the country use these records, child care facilities, schools, employers, government of all types. It will be possible for the federal government to send in hundreds of Border Patrol, Immigration, Homeland Security and the FBI to implement immigration law. California can also loose billions in federal dollars tied to their law enforcement cooperation. The court can not save them, as they don't have a leg to stand on.

It is amazing, that the largest state in the union would attempt to test this new President in this way. It is just the type of confrontation that will play into the showmanship of Mr. Trump.

Yes, all votes should be counted

THERE SHOULD BE ELECTION AUDITS FOR EVERY ELECTION

LETS CHECK REGISRATIONS

Image result for election audit

So there are recounts in Michigan Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. This is to see if the machines are correct and the absentee votes counted. This is a good thing. Is this really just a distraction, when real opportunity for voter fraud is in the registration of ineligible voters.

I think it would be a good thing that after every election, particularly for the even year federal elections, that there should be an election audit in every state. This could be decided when polls close on election day by a random pick of districts in different parts of the state. It could be performed by volunteers from both parties. They would hold all the machines and records in those districts selected. They would check the machines, the books, and all the registered voters in those districts. It would only need to be 12 or 20 districts or whatever should be decided. It would go a long way to instill confidence in the election system. If mostly volunteers are used, it would not be a major cost to the state.

Everything else is audited, why not a random spot check of elections?

Cuba, Castro,fawning progressives.

CUBA, CASTRO, LIBERAL IDOL

CASTRO, GUEVARA AND CHAVEZ GONE

Image result for castro chavez guevara

I remember listening to the radio in my room in 1959 as Batista fled Cuba and Castro marched into Havana. There were celebrations in New York city that the Cuban people were now free from the evil dictator Batista. I was 14 years old and thought, well this seems to be a good thing happening in Cuba. It may have been my first experience with the idea that things are not always as they seem. We were astonished to find that Castro was really a Communist and had allied himself with the Soviet Union. It seemed that the Cuban people just replaced one dictator with another. This seems to be a pattern that has been repeated many times even in recent history in the middle east. Cuba went on to become a client state of the Soviet Union, subsidized until 1990. Many thousands fled the country for the United States and most have become an asset of this country. I assume the most industrious and self motivated found it better to flee north 90 miles than risk losing their life in opposition to the Socialist government. After 1990 the economy declined to 3rd world status until Hugo Chavez took over in Venezuela. Chavez another darling of the Hollywood left and Academia in the United States was willing to share the oil wealth of his country with Castro. Good times were back until oil prices dropped and Chavez squandered the economy of his country to the point that there are now shortages of food and basic necessities. With no willing Marxist socialist countries left to bail out Cuba it looked like the end of this socialist experiment was over. But wait, we then have the Jesuit Marxist Pope fly in and visit Castro, followed by Barak Obama, who was not about to let the last Socialist Country in the Western Hemisphere collapse. The U.S. would bail out the Cubans with better relations, tourists, ATT, etc. Freedom of religion, and speech for the Cuban people, maybe later.

Now Fidel Castro is dead, and the socialist world is in mourning. We see the boy President of Canada  call Castro the George Washington of Cuba. He has now called into question the education system of Canada. I don't recall Washington staying in office for 50 years, or executing dissenters, or confiscation the private property of the citizens. Where is the connection to Washington? What is this guy talking about? Same goes for all the academics in this country who have been idolizing Che Guevara, who was the final decider of the Castro regime. He decided most would be shot by firing squads. When that become boring he set off on world revolution until he became a martyr in Bolivia.

So, now what is left of pure communism, It seems to be North Korea and Cuba. North Korea is not on the A-list of Hollywood or U.S. academia, but he is on high standing with some U.S. basketball players, but I think North Korea will not be romanticized like Cuba. I still don't understand why more students and professors haven't moved to Cuba, they seem to convey that it is some sort of paradise. Now, what will Trump's policy be with Cuba?,  they should be ready to expect that they are not going to get anything for nothing.

Democrats analyze loss.

DOUBLE DOWN OR REFORM

DIFFICULT TASK AHEAD

Image result for obama and hillary 2016 election

We hear different things coming out of the Democratic party. They have not yet come to a serious analysis of why they lost this election. I am not going into all the reasons I have heard so far. Most seem to believe they were not progressive enough. They have not yet directly blamed Hillary Clinton, but I suspect they will. It is not hard to figure out, it was the policies of Barak Obama that lost the election for the Democrats, and they started loosing in 2009, but being politically correct as they are, they would not face up to it then and may not do it now.

They began losing when they forced through the Affordable Care Act. They bribed, forced, and if I remember, used the Nuclear option to pass this health care reform law over the objections of many Americans. They passed it without any republican votes. They promised you would be able to keep your doctor, keep your insurance, and it would cost you less money. All lies, because they knew this was not true. In the process they have not only decimated the Health Insurance industry but we now see the decline in the quality of health care in this country.  Their whole focus was on the uninsured, to hell with the rest of America. Americans were ready for some health care reform, they liked their doctor, had a high confidence in our health care system, but were concerned about rising costs. The Democrats took this as a mandate to start on the road to National Health Care, because all there cohorts in Europe thought it was what we needed, but someone needed to ask if that is what America wanted? Americans were not asked, but they did all they had the power to do in 2010 and elect a Republican House of Representatives to block any more radical experiments. The ACA continued and many hoped it would not be as bad as suspected. It really didn't go into effect till after the 2012 election. Most provisions went into effect Jan. 1 2014.

So, back to Obama, since elected to office 2008, the Republicans now control 33 governorships, including Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts. 32 State Legislators with total control in 24 including, Florida, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin. In 2008 the republicans had total control of only 9 State governments. Republicans now control the senate in Minnesota. Since 2008 the Democrats have lost 800 state house seats, 13 Governorships, the U.S. House, The U.S. Senate and now the Presidency. If you watch CNN, it is because of White Lash. Racists and bigots who do not approve of Obamas Policies. Even Mitt Romney in 2012 was afraid to run against the policies of Barack Obama in fear that they would label him a racist, which they would have done.

The Policies of Barak Obama and his cohorts was not what America wanted, neither domestic or foreign. Obama stated that if he could run for a third term he would be re-elected in a landslide. He did the next best thing, he  hung his legacy on the campaign of Hillary Clinton. The Democrats love of control gave them a flawed candidate, not the best campaigner, even if she did get better. In the 2014 election, Obama noted that the reason they lost the senate was not because of who voted, but because of who did not vote. He insinuated that they did not run on his policies and did not get the African-American vote as he did. He thought if he coerced Hillary to accept his campaign plan she would win. The usual identify politics, if she won the women, African-American and Hispanic voters in large numbers, she would win. They were so desperate to win the minority voters, they were so out of touch with reality , they had no idea what the rest of America was thinking when they watch as Hillary and Obama pandered in every way they could to the African-American voters. I suspect it may have even been embarrassing to thinking African-American voters.

We saw identity politics all through the Obama years, especially in his second term, black lives matter, riots everywhere, fake stories in Ferguson, Florida and many other places. A soft policy against Islamic terrorism and paid disrupters at Trump rallies. It was just too much. If anyone dared point it out, they were racists, bigots and every other silencing name they could think of. We should all fear that they have so over used these defamatory words, that they now have lost much of there meaning. What is left to call people? Have they called wolf way too many times? And they are still doing it.

So now the debate in the party is; Should they go farther left, after all Hillary won the popular vote, or should they try to move more to the middle to appeal to working Americans. You have to wonder how many of those popular voters were not even citizens, after all President Obama stated on National Television that if the undocumented should vote, it is a private matter, no one will bother them. This statement by the President should not be forgotten. It should remain part of his legacy. There was a time when a young governor from Arkansas founded the Democratic Leadership Council, whose purpose was to move the party to the center, after substantial losses in previous years. This governor proved successful and probably had fond memories of the leadership council as he participated in this 2016 fiasco.

Media not coping well with Trump victory

TRUMP AND THE PRESS

END OF TRADITIONAL NEWS MEDIA MAY BE NEAR

 Image result for biased media

The presidential campaign of Donald Trump has exposed the traditional media as biased, out of touch with the American people and very likely on their way to extinction. According to a survey of the American people on the 2016 election, 80% believe the media was biased against Trump. Being an avid watcher of Trump speeches and rallies, I saw firsthand how the media would add or subtract an adjective to change what was said and then would coordinate in relentlessly pounding the story. There was an unrelenting negative view of Trump and his supporters to the point that it may have very well helped him to win the election.
Now that the election is over, they have doubled down on their attacks. They keep espousing that the transition team doesn't know what they are doing. That no one wants to take a job. That they didn't know they had to fill 4000 positions. If only a run-of-the-mill politician could have been elected every thing would be much better. The traditional news media has lost all credibility. I would be willing to bet considerable money that on January 20, 2017 the Trump team will be ready to go.
But what about the press? Big changes may be coming. Newspapers are destined to die. I don't know of any of the younger generation who subscribes to a newspaper. Most now use their smart phone to keep up with all the news that used to be in the newspapers. Specialty newspapers like Investors Business Daily may have a life with the active investment crowd, but the traditional newspaper may not last another decade. The news and talk shows are probably at their zenith, they have nowhere to go but down. MSNBC is no more than the propaganda arm of the Democratic National Party. CNN has resorted to such outrageous attacks that most likely over 50% of Americans will stop watching. Fox has its own biases, but their straight news programs, like Brett Bair, are fairly objective. One hour is about all the objective news that any of these channels can offer. I would not be surprised if these news channels start slimming down talk programming.
As for the media and President Trump, don't be surprised if he takes his messaging directly to the people via the web. I could see a sophisticated White House web page, where all briefings and press releases are posted for all to see, without the filter of the press. It is by tradition, not law, that the press flies on Air Force One. They are a private business and maybe should provide their own transportation. They may find that, due to security, they will receive short notice of the new President's travel plans. Actually from the dialogue of some of the media, it is doubtful that they should be given a security clearance. Its seems that there is a glut of talkers and it's probably time for the news organizations to thin the herd. All this may be a boon to the web-based news outlets. They could be fed news from around the world by freelance reporters, similar to the Associated Press. It would cut the cost of reporting and there could be someone available in every city in the world. It may take some time to vet these new recruits and there needs to be a standard of objectivity, but this may be the future of journalism.

Trump, the toughest most determined of them all.

END OF CLINTON ERA

TRUMP AND AMERICA WINS

END OF FUNDAMENTAL TRANSFORMATION

Image result for Trump and his supporters

Donald Trump took on the Republican establishment, the Democratic establishment, the Washington cartel and the biased corrupt media and prevailed. He has proved to be the toughest, most determined political candidate we have seen. Did his followers gather their strength and determination from him or did he gather it from his supporters? I think it was a joint effort from the beginning with Trump voicing the concerns of much of America. He was not the source of the movement but he did become the leader and champion of the movement.

He and his supporters withstood the psychological warfare waged against them. They were labeled, racist, bigots, xenophobes, white trailer park trash, and uneducated, by the media from the mainstream to bottom feeding bloggers. It was an organized plan to humiliate and embarrass anyone who would dare support Trump. While the unpolished Trump made mistakes and often got side tracked, he was able to grow and gain poise by on the job training. He grew as a politician and a man by his experience with the American people. It was an unprecedented combination of a message tailored for the times and a grass roots unorganized ground effort that consisted in yard signs paid for by the supporters themselves and distributed by individuals who knew the supporters needed to know they were not alone, to give them confidence, that together they could overcome the biased media and change the direction of the country. This combined with a word of mouth ground campaign that was spontaneous and very effective. Trumps use of rallies reinforced the enthusiasm of his supporters and spread it to the whole nation.  It was a spontaneous political campaign, not understood by the Washington elites, that was able to bypass the propaganda of the biased media.

A word of praise to Rence Preibus, who should be awarded a medal, who withstood the pressure of the establishment to sabotage Trump, who did the right thing and supported the winning candidate of the party.

Shame on those republican never Trumpers, who purposely attempted to sabotage the Trump campaign, who put themselves before the best interest of the nation and their party, who risked the makeup of the supreme court for decades. They will not be forgotten.

On the local political level, a word of praise for Lee Snover and all the dedicated members of the Northampton county republican party, who worked for months, and delivered victories for all the republicans in their county. They received personal praise from the Trump campaign, recognized by the state committee as an example of what is possible by unselfish unpaid organized volunteers.

This spells the end of the Clinton era, we may talk more about this later.

While many say that Obama is now the leader of the Democratic party, I suspect on examining the results of his policies the Democrats themselves will realize his policies have cost them most state Governorships, the state houses in the majorities of states, the U.S. house, the U.S senate and now the Presidency. While he seems to be personally well liked,  they need a new crop of leaders for the future. Like many career politicians, some who we know locally, they have strayed from  their roots of supporting the working men and women of the country. They have become the agents of special interests and social engineering. It will be interesting to see if they are able to adapt to a policy that embraces the whole America, rather than a collection of fragmented pieces.

It is a wonderful thing to watch the success of the American experiment with self government. Most people are not political activists, they just want to live their life and secure opportunities for themselves and their children. Most just want to be left alone, not subjected to increasing taxes, regulation, and intrusion into every aspect of their life. Every so often they rise up and say enough. This is one of those times. It would be wonderful if that is all that would be needed, but this may be a great battle victory, but not the end of the war.

Will this be the end of the 2 party system?

CLEAR CHOICE FOR THIS ELECTION

WHAT WILL THE CONSEQUENCES BE?

Image result for Supreme court and constitution

Tomorrow is the most important election in our history. It is a choice of preserving America as we know it or stepping into a new America. If the democrats win this election the republicans will never win another presidential election. That is of course unless they adopt a democratic platform, which is what has been the agenda of establishment republicans for decades. If Hillary Clinton is elected, you can expect open borders, open immigration, and millions of instant new citizens and democratic voters. It will basically result in an unstoppable 1 party system. While there may be 2 parties, they are going to take the country to the same place. Their plan is higher taxes to support more government workers, and more regulation to stifle the private sector. Higher incomes for anyone working for the government or working in collusion with the government. Private business will increasingly be squeezed out of existence to be replaced with government endorsed business and big nationwide business. You can see this with the banking business as small independent banks are being squeezed by regulation and the government taking over home loans and student loans. New car loans are provided by the car manufacturers. We will eventually have a handful of super banks that will control all of the banking business. If Hillary Clinton is able to appoint 3 or 4 Supreme Court justices the constitution will be no more than a piece of paper on display, at least for a while,  in the Smithsonian. The constitution is the law for the government, it is a constant annoyance to big government advocates. They will have their opportunity to make it no more than a piece of history. We can see how they have been able to find meanings in the constitution that anyone who can read and have basic comprehension can understand has perverted the meaning of the constitution.

Again this is the last opportunity to preserve America as we know it. Trump has not always been the best politician, but his proposals for America will begin a renewal of the American economy,  a better hope for all Americans to grow in prosperity,  for more liberty for individuals and communities to set their own course, rather than be increasingly controlled by an all powerful federal government. The ability of America to remain a strong independent nation, rather than a piece in the global administrative state controlled by the elite special interests. Voters need to look beyond the personalities and the onslaught of media propaganda and look at the basic issues. Which proposals are in the best interest of the nation in the long run. It is the most important choice you will ever make.
