As world prepares for war, U.S. mired in political warfare and social revolution.

WAR PREPARATIONS UNDERWAY IN TAIWAN, UKRAINE AND ISRAEL

U.S. MEDIA OBSESSED WITH TRUMP, COVID AND INTERNAL POLITICS

While the United States leaders are preoccupied with internal division and domestic politics the world seems to be preparing for War.

The China/Taiwan issue is  looking like China is ready to consummate its control over Taiwan.  They were given the authority over Taiwan by Jimmy Carter who agreed that Taiwan was part of China. That was over 40 years ago and China seems to now believe that it has the military, political and economic power to make this disgraceful bargain a reality. The question is, will the leadership of Taiwan accede to the demands of China or will they resist with their military.  The U.S. claims we want a political resolution and sometimes states we will back Taiwan militarily. Does anyone believe that the U.S. will come to the aid of Taiwan?  We may find out very soon.

The Ukraine crisis is again heating up, with Russia now amassing over 100,000 troops on the Ukraine border. The EU and NATO would like to allow Ukraine to become part of NATO and ally with western Europe. This would allow NATO to put military bases and missiles in Ukraine on the border of Russia. This would compare to a situation with an adversary putting missiles in Canada or Mexico. Remember the Cuban missile crisis. Russia has stated that this will not happen. The best solution would be an independent non-aligned Ukraine able to trade with both the EU and Russia.  It is likely that if pushed, it will result in the division of Ukraine into eastern and western Ukraine. Will the United States and Nato go to war over the partition of Ukraine?

Then there's Israel, which without even a whisper by the media is preparing for a major war. They are actually advising citizens to prepare by storing food, water and other supplies for a possible long drawn out conflict. It is not clear if Israel is preparing to attack Iran's nuclear facilities or if they believe that an attack is imminent from their neighbors. With the U.S. withdrawing missile defense facilities from Israel they may have left them no other option but to expect to have to destroy their enemies rather than just protect their citizens.

Often times these possibilities of hostilities cool down and the danger passes. This time, with the United States preoccupation with internal crisis, will it be an opportunity for some or uncertainty for others that will result in a major conflict? It does not seem to be on the radar of this administration which is focused on social revolution and pursuing its political adversaries here at home.
