States should transport all illegal migrants to Washington D.C.

 GOVERNORS IN BORDER STATES HAVE THE DUTY TO PROTECT THEIR STATES

IMMIGRATION CONTROL IS FEDERAL DUTY, WASHINGTON D.C. IS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT'S HOME

It is time that the border states and their neighbors take charge of the chaos brought about by the federal government's inaction. If they would enter into a cooperative agreement, they could pool their resources and police the border themselves. They could also arrest all illegal trespassers in their states and transport them home to Washington D.C.  They are the responsibility of the federal government and they will now be close to home so they can deal with their problem.

They should also put the federal government on notice that they will not accept any new immigrants unless approved of by their state.

I am sure, if these states need volunteers from across the nation to act as backstops to help with the clerical and transportation and other non-law enforcement responsibilities, just put out the call, they will come.

They have lots of big parking lots in Washington D.C. they could set up some large tent cities and the politicians could tend to the food, shelter and latrine duties. It is their responsibility, they created this mess, they should be willing to clean it up. 

While it is sad for the plight of these immigrants, who for many is a wish for a better life, they are being used as a political weapon by the Democrat party. They are using these immigrants as a pawns by playing on the real concern and emotions of Americans to bring about the destabilization of the border states for political advantage. It is a disgusting display of cynical political warfare. 

Its time that the states get into a mentality of tough love with this federal government. These politicians both republican and democrat have to see this mess everyday in THEIR back yard, let them deal with results of their incompetence or dereliction of duty. Hopefully, like unruly teenagers, they will grow up and start being responsible adults.
