Impeachment 2, Dems get to kick Trump on his way out.

IMPEACHMENT IS NOW JUST ANOTHER MEANINGLESS POLITICAL WEAPON

IT MAY BECOME A REGULAR TACTIC BY THE MAJORITY

So, The Democratic majority house has fulfilled their promise to the Democratic base that they would impeachment Trump. They promised this before the inauguration, even made it happen twice, a new record for partisan politics. I am sure that it is not the last we will hear of impeachment. It is likely to become a regular feature of U.S. politics.

The first impeachment was brought forth, when Trump had the audacity to question leaders in Ukraine about the corruption of the Biden family. Any mention of corruption by establishment politicians it seems is a no, no. Expect the full force of the federal government. First it was debunked. Then it was, of course, Russian disinformation. Now within days we can expect it will all go away and be labeled a political investigation.

The second impeachment was brought forth when a peaceful protest about election fraud got out of hand by a small number of the protesters. Of course, we have never seen such protests get out of hand by Antifa and Black lives matter, even when they destroyed business's and cities for months. The real offense was to suggest that there was voter fraud in the 2020 election.  What most people wanted, including a large number of house members and senators, was to have a bi-partisan view of the results with some audits of the most egregious accusations. Their hope was that a transparent view would restore confidence in the election by all Americans. Now we are told that all is well, no fraud, take our word for it, and if you don't you are a conspirator and unhinged. You may even be subject to some penalty, yet to be determined.

That approach just magnifies the beliefs of those who have questioned the results.

So now they claim they are going to send the impeachment over to the Senate for a trial, but to their dismay Trump will not be in the Presidency by the time any trial could be convened. No matter, they say, just got to do it. Even when the first impeachment was advertised as having to be conducted by the Senate in an exclusive manner, with no other business to be conducted by the Senate. Even while occurring with the onset of the Covid-19 problem. It is likely much of this has to do to pressure Trump to do, or not do, certain things before he leaves office. It has not worked before and will unlikely work now. It seems rules are now to be changed whenever it is inconvenient or not in the political interest of the majority.

I have no problem with such a trial, let the Senators spew forth their hate. Make them all vote, including the Republicans, and especially those who have a hope of running for president in 2024. After all, they would not want to run against Trump in 2024.

I think Trump has served his tour of duty, he should now look to see where he can be effective in the future or just plain enjoy life. He has not only changed the politics of the U.S. forever, but also internationally. Biden is inheriting a far different world than the one he left in 2016. His administration is nothing more than the third Obama term, including most of the appointees. If they believe they can now reignite the middle east, they may find that those leaders have seen something better from the U.S. and may not be so easily manipulated. If they want to cozy up to Iran, they will find  few allies in the middle-east.

At home, he will have the power of the media, which has been diminished for much of the nation. It is obvious the left fears an honest debate on the issues, that is why they are attempting to suppress free speech by their opposition. A much larger and better informed opposition. They may attempt to suppress them, but they will not make them go away.

Is Telegram the new free speech messenger service.

WORLD LEADERS ENCOURAGE SHIFT TO TELEGRAM OVER U.S. SOCIAL MEDIA

CENSORSHIP OFTEN JUST FORCES EVERYONE UNDERGROUND

While U. S. based tech leaders have used their power to censor those who they do not agree with, it has created a reaction that may be sending many into uncharted waters. It also may make identifying real threats and real dangers harder to see.

Since the coordinated attack on Parler, a growing competitor for the tech liberals, who relied on these r U.S. based companies for their services, it seems the move is now going to be out of the U.S., possibly to platforms that are not easily monitored. As is often the case, an over-reaction and biased based action may result in a situation far worse than the cure.

All the social media sites had community standards concerning unlawful activity, child pornography, human trafficking and advocating violent action and they were well respected and approved by most of their users. In 2019 they went off their own standards and expanded to a bias against speech by conservatives. It was a naked power political play that will have lasting effects.

We then saw a move to Parler that was growing by the day and then the tech world coordinated an attack that disabled Parler, possibly permanently. I suspect this move is going to cost the perpetrators billions in the long run, if not actual ruin.

Now the new social media site that is emerging is Telegram. It predecessor company was founded in 2013 and as of this week claims 500 million monthly users. Telegram was started by Nikolai  and Pavel Duruv in Russia in 2013. In 2014 their company was taken over by allies of Vladimir Putin and they headquartered in Berlin from 2014 and 2015. They are now headquartered in Dubai. They offer an impressive array of services from internet chat to video and voice communications. Many of their services are encrypted.

They operate from numerous servers placed around the world. They may be the beneficiary of the biased based actions of the tech oligarchy. The actions by these companies has aroused concern by many world leaders, who wonder if  they may be next to be targeted by these adolescent authoritarians.

It seems that while the tech giants at present have a monopoly on social media, they may be in for a future of playing wack a mole, not only by competitors, but by those who are going to be demanding compensation. This action may come from both private and government entities. It is likely many of these people, while gifted in their technical abilities, have little experience in world politics. They have already alienated a sizable number of their customers, they will now be faced by competition and government actions from many sources. This may not be the new world they envisioned.

Is the Biden campaign and social media in legal jeopardy?

IS IT ILLEGAL FOR POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS AND PARTIES TO COORDINATE WITH PRIVATE COMPANIES TO SUPPRESS THE SPEECH OF ITS OPPONENTS?

IS IT ILLEGAL TO USE ONES MONOPOLY POWER TO DAMAGE YOUR COMPETITION?

It is well know than in the heat of a political campaigns, particularly in the closing days, operatives often engage in questionable activities. Sometimes things are done that are not thought out or they dismiss the possible consequences. This has always been a reality in the emotional roller coaster of a political campaign.

The 2020 election has a record of many first time events, but the possibility of a coordinated effort by the Democrats and the Biden campaign and their supporters in social media to suppress the free speech rights of their opponents is a very serious matter. There is no question that these actions took place, there are millions of verifying data to show that the first amendment rights of many candidates were suppressed.

Many have claimed that private companies are not subject to first Amendment liability.  Are private companies exempt from civil rights violations? We have seen scores of prosecutions both at the state and federal level for civil rights violations of private companies. Where the civil rights of many candidates violated by the actions of these private companies?

What about collusion or cooperation between political parties and campaigns to use the power of these companies to infringe on the civil rights of their opponents? Does this coordination now make them criminally complicit.

Then there is the matter of a coordinated effort by social media companies to block conservative voices. There are thousands of easily proven instances of cooperation and coordination of these players. Have their civil rights been violated?

Then there is now substantial proof of Anti-Trust violations of those same media companies against their competitors who had legitimate contracts with these companies. There is a mountain of evidence that those companies harmed were a growing competition for those who engaged in this coordinated effort to damage them financially. The perpetrators are the ultimate in deep pockets. It is unlikely that even politically friendly lawyers will be able to resist the lure of unheard of awards for damages. These damages could be pursued both federally and in all 50 states.

I would wager that the conversations are now ongoing on class action and other suits that will be brought in the near future. You can bet that such actions may not be limited to just the U.S.. European and other countries have a growing distrust of the power wielded by social media companies. While these companies have lots of lawyers and resources, they have a declining reputation by many citizens around the world. These companies may be the deepest pocketed targets in history. They have now likely become the biggest targets ever.

To forecast democrats future agenda, just look at their recent past.

 DEMOCRATS NOW THREATEN AMERICA

THEY PROMISE IF GIVEN POWER, THEY WILL ABUSE THAT POWER

Democrat whining over the confirmation of Amy Barrett to the supreme court has now descended into threats to the country. They openly threaten America that they will take vengeance on the citizens of this country by using that power to solidify their control of the government forever. This is not a surprise, after watching their abuse of power for the last 12 years.

You could say that much of this division started with the passing of the Affordable Care Act. This bill, which affected the health care of everyone in the country, was passed without one republican vote. They had to change the rules of the Senate and publicly bribe many of their own democrat senators to pass this law. They knowingly lied to the people that if they liked their doctor, they could keep their doctor. If they liked their insurance, they could keep their insurance. It was all about political power and control of the health care industry. They used the plight of those who were uninsured to disrupt the health care of the whole country in an effort to move the country to a national health care system. A system that did not pass muster with the constitution, but they were able to keep it alive by a convoluted ruling by the Republican appointed Chief Justice himself.

The uprising that resulted led to the democrats losing 63 seats in the house and the majority and losing 7 seats in the senate which gave them a slim 53-47 majority.

They could have taken their time and worked for a bi-partisan effort to address the problems with healthcare, which was high quality healthcare, but a continually rising cost. Instead they used the problems to push a partisan ideological solution.

In the election of 2012 Obama was reelected, but the republicans held the house. It was obvious that the people were afraid to give them that power again.

In the election of 2014 the Republicans won 9 senate seats and now controlled the senate and the house. A Democrat state senator from California and a Democrat state representative from Connecticut were arrested and convicted for voter fraud. Voter machine irregularities occurred in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina and Illinois. The Affordable care act was still a major issue in this election.

On February 13, 2016 Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia unexpectedly died. On Mar. 16, 2016 Obama nominated Merrick Garland to replace him. The president nominates and the Senate give advice and consent. The republican senate refused to put the nominee up for a vote. They had the constitutional right to make that decision, but the animosity over the partisan passing of ACA weighed in the decision.

During the presidency of Obama every part of the Federal government was politicized. We had the IRS use their power to restrict political organizations. The ATF engaged in gun running to Mexican cartels to create a climate for gun control that resulted in the death of a Border control officers. We saw his Justice department refuse to hand over subpoenaed documents.

We saw the Obama administration engage in regime change and foment revolution in Syria, Egypt, Libya, Ukraine and interfere in the elections in Israel and Russia. They helped in effect to finance Iranian terror and destabilization in the middle east. Their policies resulted in the destabilization of much of Europe and greatest displacement of human beings since WW2. It has resulted in the death of 100's of thousands in the middle east.

Then during and after the election of Donald Trump the FBI, State department and CIA engaged in an effort to overthrow the election, to discredit Trump, drive his popularity down and force him to resign. The Mueller investigation went on for 2 1/2 years and when they finally gave it up, within a week the Democrat controlled house set out to impeach the President for inquiring about the true corruption engaged in by the Joe Biden family in Ukraine. They had the constitutional power to engage in that and they did. They did not receive 1 Republican vote. It was nothing more than a partisan abuse of power.

We have seen four years of Democrat appointees and bureaucrats leak misleading and dishonest attacks on the president. Undercut and attempt to hinder his presidency. All in an attempt to destroy and cover up their own corruption.

We watched a viscous, slanderous and perjury laden Senate hearing for the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh as a supreme court justice. A disgrace to the country.

Now they whine about the Republican senate actually fulfilling their constitutional duty to fill a seat on the supreme court. Not just whine, but threaten and promise, that if they regain power there will be no limit to the abuse of power they will engage in by enlarging the court, adding states to the union to control the senate forever and lower the voting age to sixteen so they can then politicize the public schools to win elections.

The last twelve years has shown the nature of this new Democrat party, it is a party of revolution and destruction. Their goal is to destroy America as we know it and replace it with some yet to be determined Utopian illusion. This is the most important election in the history of this country. Our very survival is at stake.

Originally published 10/29/20, Now that they have obtained their goal of unlimited power, you will see their priorities, it will be insuring power forever and retribution to those that oppose their agenda. There will be little reconciliation or unifying agenda. It will very likely not end well for the United States

Washington rally against voter fraud gets distracted.

STILL NO PLAN TO ADDRESS CONCERNS ABOUT ELECTION INTEGRITY

MORE OF THE SAME DENIAL OF VOTING IRREGULARITIES

Yesterday we witnessed as a rally to bring into focus many peoples concerns about voter fraud was distracted by a breach of the capital building by possibly several hundred protesters. Watching the rally earlier it was a peaceful rally. After the speeches were concluded the crowd moved toward the capital building, I presume to make their voices heard by the joint meeting being conducted inside. How this descended into a breach of the building, at present, we don't know, I doubt that this was a plan of the majority of protesters. It may have been a plan by a small group who came prepared to create this chaos.I did notice that the several individuals who broke out the windows were dressed with helmets, riot shields and body armor, these were not the average protesters.

Of course, this is now being labeled by the media as an insurrection, an attempt to overthrow the government, how ironic that the events of the last 4 years that they endorsed and supported were only peaceful protests and the protecting of democracy. While the breech of the capital building was an overstep by the protesters, I saw no Molotov cocktails, no burning police cars or buildings. Their hypocrisy has no limit.

It is concerning that it was so easy to breech the capital building, especially when a joint House and Senate meeting was underway. With an estimated rally of possibly 1 million in the vicinity, you would think that security would have been enhanced to the point of making such an event impossible. I suppose we will see an investigation into capital security procedures. The capital police should be congratulated for a restrained and professional response that minimized injuries to all.

While many hope that this event will squash all questions about election integrity, it will not! The response by many of the elected leaders opposing any attempt to form a commission to look into voting irregularities, just point to fact that they have something to hide. A good, fair and transparent audit of ballots and voting systems would go a long way to creating a more unified nation, unless they fear what would be revealed by such an audit. Contrary to their talking points, no serious look has been given to this election. It is still, nothing to see, shut up and go home.

So, while action by the federal officials is likely to go nowhere, the next step will be to demand a 100% verifiable and foolproof election system in all states. This will happen when it it realized that this is were the problems started and this is were it needs to addressed for the future. This will be the focus in the coming months, it will be political pressure on state representatives, state senators and governors. Also State courts that overstep their authority concerning elections need to impeached for abuse of power.

As for the election of 2020, Biden will be viewed by many as an invalid president, who won by corrupt methods. A commission or audit could have maybe saved him from that label, but then it seems the powers that be had a real fear of any such transparent accounting, we can only assume why.

Dems dream of total permanent control near complete.

VOTING RULES WILL DENY REPUBLICANS STATEWIDE WINS FOREVER

DEMS CAN NOW DO TO STATES WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO CITIES

Weak knee Republican legislators around the country, who succumbed to pressure and guilt to give the Democrats a permanent lock on all statewide elections have now assured a permanent Democrat majority. It is unlikely that any Republican will ever win statewide elections in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Georgia or any state were the Democrats control a voting system in urban areas were they will be able to garner whatever number of votes needed to win. If they cannot win any governorships, they will most likely not be able to vote in honest voting regulations.

We can now expect to see unrestrained policies of redistribution, which may very well usher in a flight from all paper assets. With expected 40% taxes on capital gains, investments in all paper assets will likely be a sure loser. If they can put in place annual taxes on assets, it will be in ones best interest to no longer own such assets. You can expect a flight to hard assets that one can keep and preserve. When citizens seek to protect and hide their assets, government's thirst for more revenue will require more draconian measures of force. This is how a country goes from prosperity to Venezuela in a few short years.

We can now see the policies that have devastated the big cities of America being applied to states. Higher taxes to bail out failed cities, along with a lowering of incentives to expand and grow, being replaced with incentives to protect what you already have. It is a sure formula for economic decline, more social unrest and a further decline in faith in government or government agencies. The government will now truly be the enemy of anyone who wants to work and save or provide for their families future.

It is now very unlikely that this trend can be stopped by the voting process. It may be just too late to preserve an America that promised freedom and opportunity. It is likely to be replaced with a generally lower standard of living, greater dependence on government programs and a trend toward totalitarian government.

While things may no longer be changed by voting, a weakened America will be a target of our enemies abroad. I am sure they are already planning how they can put the finishing touches on America's decline.

Time to pardon Assange and Snowden

U.K. COURT REJECTS EXTRADITION OF ASSANGE TO THE U.S.

U.S. APPEAL COULD DRAG OUT DECISION FOR YEARS

A U.K. court in London refused to grant the extradition of Julian Assange to the United States. It is expected that the U.S. will appeal the decision. The trans-atlantic political pressure will be enormous in the quest to prosecute Assange for publishing classified documents on his on-line Wikileaks. Assange's only difference between the New York Times and the Washington Post is that his revelations were not to the liking of the powers that be. They did not provide political advantage to those in power.

Assange has been under assault for 8 years, spending 7 years in the Ecuadorian embassy in London on trumped up sex charges in Sweden.  After being forced out of the embassy he has spent the last year in London jails fighting extradition to the U.S. You can bet his woes are not going to be over unless he is pardoned and an end is made of this political persecution.

Assange also has the knowledge and the proof as to the source of the hacking of the Democrat National committee in 2016. He has claimed it was not a source from a sovereign nation and was handed to one of his allies in a park in Washington D.C. Any such provable revelation would blow a hole in the existing narrative of Russian election interference.

As for Snowden, his crime was revealing the NSA's illegal collection of communications data on every American citizen. This was supposed to be in an effort to counter terrorist acts. This data was and is likely still being collected without warrant or probable cause and stored in the NSA's massive facilities in Nevada. The terrorists were mostly well aware of this capability, that is why Osama bin Laden used hand carried messages rather than any electronic communication. The only revelation was to American citizens who were in the dark about this illegal collection of data. The then NSA director Clapper swore under oath in congressional hearings on National TV that the NSA does not collect and store information on American citizens. No action was ever taken against Clapper, as compared to what would have happened to the political enemies of the deep state.

Snowden was in fact a true whistle blower, not the fake leakers we have witnessed for the last few years. Snowden revealed illegal actions by U.S. government agencies taken against the civil rights of American citizens. No action has yet to be taken to protect the privacy of Americans and no explanation has yet been given to what end all this information is going to be used.

The collection of this massive data from communication companies and social media suggests that there is a program in place to profile all Americans, very similar to what has been done in communist China.

Both Snowden and Assange should be pardoned by Trump. It is unlikely that they will treated better under a Biden presidency. Then we could have a real discussion on what constitutes freedom of the press. What are the limits to government surveillance and what kind of information should be maintained by the government on American citizens. It seems we now live in an era without any such discussion, just a lot of fluff about personalities and irrelevant gossip. Journalism has now become a distraction from the real issues of importance.
