A little calculating, 100 emails a day would add up to 18 years of emails. This is an extraordinary number. While Anthony Weiner may have made a lot of emails something is up with the volume of emails alone. It is not likely that this computer is 18 years old. Huma and Weiner were married for 6 years so this would amount to 300 emails a day. The question is did Huma forward and save much of the Clinton emails to her computer. She may have wanted to write a book in the future or she may have surmised that her knowing more than any other person about the dealings of Hillary Clinton placed her in a dangerous position. Anyway, there are a lot of email on this computer. It has been reported by the FBI that Hillary had as many as 4 private servers that were taken out of service and replaced, did Huma download the contents before they were destroyed?

 

Comey's announcement on Friday came as a surprise to most, but the N.Y. office of the FBI have been looking at this for some time. They know what is on the computer. If they know, so does Comey, Lynch and Obama.

 

Comey's previous investigation was hampered by the fact that he was not allowed by the Justice Department to convene a Grand Jury, without a Grand Jury he was denied the ability to issue subpoenas, this investigation was hampered and delayed and finally time ran out at the end of the primary. He could not go forward so he had his famous press conference where he laid out all the reasons why Hillary was guilty but then stated he would not recommend indictment. Everyone was amazed and wondered what he was doing. After this statement he testified before congress that she had lied many times, that she had destroyed evidence after receiving a subpoena from congress. He has been walking a fine line between doing what he was able to do, and doing what he felt should be done.
 

While unable to bring charges against Clinton, he was also trying to keep the FBI from losing all credibility, there seemed to many leaks coming from many places. When the N.Y. FBI found this laptop, many knew what was on this computer. It is reported that Lynch advised him not to reveal the information. He could not let it be known what applied to Clinton without a warrant for that information. It may be assumed he could not get one through official channels. When he revealed the existence of the emails to the congressional oversite committee, all hell broke loose and he was granted the warrant to investigate these emails concerning the Clinton investigation. This is why he sent the letter to congress.
 

Comey knew what was on the computer and it was not about yoga lessons or wedding invitations. It must be a very serious matter or he would not have taken these unprecedented steps. He knew the information was known to enough people that it would at some time become public knowledge and if it should be revealed the FBI knew about this before the election, it would have been catastrophic to the FBI and anyone who sat on this information. It is very interesting that the Obama administration has backed off condemning Comey. Do they see the handwriting on the wall and see that the game is up and figure it is time to preserve the Obama legacy rather than try to play this game any longer.

This story is far from over, and the repercussions may go on for years. It is a sad state of affairs and the damage to the country and the citizens faith in their government may be irreparable.
