Planning for Senate trial underway.

NOT A TIME FOR REPUBLICANS TO BE WEAK

AFTER 3 YEARS OF ABUSE, TIME TO AIR IT ALL OUT

Rumors out there are that some Republican Senators would like to have a quick trial and get this whole mess behind them. They fear that they may look bad to their country club friends. Are the Republicans again going to quiver in the face of an opportunity to stand tall and play in the big leagues of political warfare? Are they again going to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory?

This is their opportunity to expose all the corruption that has been orchestrated by the Democrats in the last few years. Hunter Biden should be exposed for his role in Ukraine, after all this is a big part of the impeachment story. Adam Schiff needs to answer for his shenanigans. Eric the Leaker needs to be exposed as to his role in the last three years of disinformation and assault on the President. These people all need to be sworn in and questioned in public. They should not stoop to the low level of Democratic behavior. This should be a no nonsense professional inquiry, by the rules, but leave nothing out.

The President after all is the person that has been under assault for the last 4 years, he should have a say in how this is all played out. The Senate should keep it orderly, professional and by the book.

We have witnessed the policy of false accusations against the president, Judge Kavanaugh and others. This is a trend that needs to be stopped. People make accusations and then when exposed as fake, they go on their merry way. There needs to be consequences for false accusations. Most of these people hide by being labeled as informed or anonymous sources and now whistle-blowers.

Adam Schiff has repeatedly lied about his evidence that has never been produced. In his opening statement in the impeachment inquiry he read a story that was not at all what was in the conversation by the president. The whistle-blowers sworn statement was mostly a fabrication, second and third hand. Are the Republican Senators more worried that they may not be invited to some Washington affairs or are they going to stand up for the whole story and demand some accountability for the last three years of false reports and political warfare.

The defense team needs to be serious about exposing everything with all the details, there is no need to rush, this could last for several months if necessary, whatever it takes to cover all the facts. The president should have the right to choose his defense team and at least help to fashion a framework for the defense. There are several very qualified and capable Senators who would be willing take on this task.

This may be their last chance to put an end to this disgraceful behavior of the resistance. If it is not addressed and dealt with, it will continue to divide and possibly destroy this country.
