BOARD TO VOTE ON $2.2 MILLION STADIUM UPGRADE
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDS TAX INCREASE
The Northwestern Lehigh School board will vote on Feb.21 to approve a $2.2 million upgrade at the Athletic stadium. This will include artificial turf for the football field and a 6 lane artificial track.
The present building expansion is now projected to cost $12,583,492.
The present fund balance is now $18,648,748.
The contribution to the Teachers pension is now 33.43% of the cost of Salaries. This is in addition to the salaries.
The Administration is recommending a 1.2% tax increase this year.
The audit for this year is now available on line. Items of note are listed below but this is only a small amount of the information available on the school website.
Total liabilities for this year is $111,2777,495 compared to $96,582,627 last year. This is the total of all debt, building and pension.
Pension liability is now $64,806,426
Building debt is now $48,122,092 compared to $44,139,295 last year.
Total revenue was $40,922,536 compared to $40,271,960 last year.
Total expenses were $40,968,326 compared to $38,927,505 last year. Spending increased by $2,040,821 or 5.2%
