Democratic primary loses all credibility.

UNPRECEDENTED FOR CANDIDATES TO DROP OUT DAY BEFORE SUPER TUESDAY

WHAT WERE THE STICKS AND CARROTS OFFERED?

Having been a part of several political campaigns, it is with wonder that we see 2 of the major candidates drop out the day before the most important primary of this election cycle. Buttigieg was a viable candidate until the South Carolina primary, this was not a surprise that he would do poorly in that demographic area. Klobucher had less success, but you would think after a year of campaigning, begging supporters for financial support and volunteer work, she would have at least evaluated the situation after super Tuesday. What they were promised or what threats they received we may never know.

It is an insult to their financial supporters, volunteers and anyone who believes in a political process that is above reproach. The Biden campaign should offer to reimburse anyone who has supported these candidates. Good luck with that. It seems the democrat establishment is willing to discourage many of their supporters from partaking in the political process in the future. The sad thing is Biden is a weaker candidate than the drop outs. He is and has been the favorite candidate of the entrenched bureaucracy and the Democrat establishment. He is the ultimate insider, in the image of Hillary Clinton. If he should win the nomination, it is now more likely that Hillary will be his Vice-President candidate. If he wins the nomination, it will very much be a replay of the 2016 election.

While this is an obvious play to damage the hopes of Bernie Sanders, it may very well be a boon to his campaign. He is now the David against the evil Washington Goliath. If he has good political instincts, which he does, he will play their attempt to push him out as a rallying call for all those who are disgusted with corruption in Washington. He is now the ultimate under dog, the hope of all the under dogs in the country. Are all of Buttigieg's supporters going to switch to Biden or will they be disgusted by the corruption and vote for Sander's. 

So, why do they so hate  Sanders? They will tell you that he is too far to the left and he is. but his policies are identical to where all the democrats want to go. He has just been foolish enough to be honest about what he believes and what his plans are for the country. That, and I suspect he would not tolerate the corruption that is now an epidemic in Washington. He would not be controlled by the bureaucracy. He would be a threat to expose the corruption of the Clinton's, Biden's and others of both parties, who have been in power for the last 40 years.

The best course for the country would be to end the reign of the corrupt and have an honest debate about the direction for the country. If the majority wants to move to a socialist society, then lets get it over with. The country needs some sort of resolution to the divisions in the country.
