It is now being reported that the identity of the so called whistle blower is Eric Ciaramella, a 33 year old CIA Analyst who is a registered democrat held over from the Obama White House, previously worked with former Vice-President Joe Biden and former CIA Director John Brennan.

He left his National Security Council  posting in the White House in mid-2017 amid concerns about negative leaks to the media. He has since returned to working at the CIA headquarters in Langely Virginia.

He is reported to have worked with Democratic opposition researcher Alexandrea Chalupa. a Ukrainian-American who supported Hillary Clinton and led an effort to link the Republican campaign to the Russian government. Documents confirm they met in the White House in November 2015.

All the major media and members of congress have known this persons identity for months, but curiously none of them have leaked this until now.

Ciaramella is a CIA officer specializing in Russia and Ukraine. He was detailed over to the National security Council from the agency in the summer of 2015, working under Susan Rice, Obama's national security adviser.

Federal records also show that Biden's office invited Ciaramella to an October 2016 state luncheon hosted for Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. Others invited included Brennan, Comey and NID director James Clapper. Insiders took notice of this low level agent at this meeting, assuming he was a political operative.

Ciaramella worked on Ukrainian policy issues for Biden in 2015 and 2016, when Biden was point man for Ukraine.

He was held over into the Trump administration and headed the Ukraine desk at the NSC. Others in the office claimed he vehemently opposed Trump's Foreign policy.

It is claimed he leaked negative information to the press within days of Trump's inauguration.

Adam Schiff recruited two of Ciaramella's allies at the NSC to join his staff. Ciaramella  also counselled with Schiff before he filed his report.

Ciaramella has not been in the White House for near two years and has no direct knowledge of what goes on there.

It is also alleged that Alexander Vindman was the leaker who passed information to Ciaramella.

He then elaborated and expanded on the Trump conversation and filed a report with the Inspector general.

It will be interesting, now that his identity has been revealed, how the media will spin that he is a  non-partisan, objective, patriotic, career government worker.

  1. I was under the impression these government employees signed some type of confidentiality clause. The old'Need to know' stuff.Looking forward to see how Mr.Ciaramella conducts himself in public hearings in front of the cameras if Speaker Pelosi will expose him to direct questioning

  2. One has to wonder why the secret service has not lined up all the employees in the white house and hooked them up to a polygraph. It is usually part of the contract with the FBI,CIA, etc. that this is a common practice. I was a lowly E5 in the Navy and had to sign a nondisclosure that was forever. What the hell is going on with the security in the government.

  3. That's why he is labeled a whistle blower, a leaker can be prosecuted.

  5. Now we see why Schiff and the democrats wanted to keep this person anonymous, you can bet they will keep him from testifying and being cross-examined.

  6. You can bet they will try to keep this guy out of the public eye, The Senate needs to conduct a trial and force all these people, including Shiff on the stand under oath.

  7. Time to put Schiff under interogation. Time for lie detector tests.
