Censorship, cancelling, all signs that the left is losing the argument.

DESPERATE TO LIMIT ANYONE VOICING OTHER OPINIONS

THEY OBVIOUSLY HAVE NO FAITH IN THEIR OWN AGENDA

Cancel culture is just another indication that the left understands that their agenda, when exposed to open debate, is losing. Their ideas cannot hold up to sunlight and transparency. Only by enforcing that  only 1 opinion is disseminated can they hope to keep control of the direction of this country. They have been able to use most of the media, the educational system, the majority of politicians and the administrative bureaucratic government to make their ideas the only game in town, and they are still losing. I suspect that they are dumbfounded that this is happening. That is why they then resort to labeling people as deplorable, fringe minorities, racists, terrorists or whatever they think will be effective in suppressing dissent.

While efforts to shape public opinion has always existed, it has now expanded to include a fascist cooperation with the media, big business, entertainment, sports and any other avenues to shape public opinion in their favor, and it is not working. We have descended into  a propaganda campaign that is very much what has occured in Totalitarian governments.What dangerous excesses will they stoop to to enforce their view of the world.

While they still have success with many people, there is more and more who recognize the lies, the half truths and the just plain ignoring whatever they don't want people to focus on. They seem to be getting more desperate as the days go on. The credibility of the government and their media puppets is becoming more obvious to more and more people. There are more people recognizing the contradictions and untruths being pedaled every day. The population have become much more aware. It is to the point that if any subject has political implications, they are probably lying. The weather may be the last unbiased reporting left, but if it can be connected to global warming, maybe not.

More citizens are now aware of the meaning of the constitution and are able to understand court rulings that are not based on the law and the constitution. Rulings with obvious political leaning are now becoming more clear to more of the citizenry.

The country has been subjected to outright lying and hypocrisy by government departments,  media and enforced by a cooperative corporate establishment. The most blatant example was the Russian collusion investigation that was in fact a 3 year display of a false narrative that was encouraged and extended by willing accomplices.

While those who opposed Trump relished in the whole affair, hoping it could be used for political advantage, even though many knew it was a lie. It has led to the disillusionment and lack of credibility of government institutions and the media. I really don't know how they can recover their credibility other than to admit and apologize. They have so far chosen to double down and keep the lies going.

The fact that they would stoop to this outrageous method to discredit Trump and his supporters is the clearest indication yet, that they are desperate, because they know they cannot win the debate about the future of the country on the issues.  It seems they are willing to destroy the country rather than let the people decide our path for the future. It is a historical fact that the more governments attempt to suppress free speech, the more they convince the rest of the population that something is wrong.
