Austin threatens congress, Ukraine money or U.S. troops to Ukraine.

IT TAKES WISDOM TO KNOW "WHEN TO FOLD EM"

HOPING TO CONTINUE WAR UNTIL AFTER ELECTION?

It appears desperation is increasing as the Ukraine conflict is looking increasingly dim. Only U.S. media, Nikki Haley and White House spinners are expecting a Ukraine victory. Most all objective analysis concedes this conflict is over as to its conclusion. Now, is the best opportunity for Ukraine to preserve its country and save what's left of its young men and now women. Of course, the domestic political consequences outway any empathy for the 500,000 Ukrainian dead and an equal number of severely injured.

It seems the hope is to extend this conflict at least until after the election. Or maybe even escalate the conflict by pushing a NATO intervention, as it is assumed that a wartime president is always re-elected.

This NATO expansion triggered conflict has been the greatest failure of U.S. policy in history, so far. There is always the possibility of refusing to admit failure and send the country and the world into a much worse situation.

So far this enterprise has resulted in the death and dismemberment of over 1 million Ukrainians. The results of sanctions has sent Western Europe on a path to be de-industrialized or worse. It has set in motion a move to a seperate and possibly larger economic system that could deny the West, not only its economic advantage, but its future hopes of prosperity.

All this, and no remorse, no plan B, no effort to salvage what remains of Western economic advantage and economic prosperity, just the threat of more money, more debt, more death and destruction, even of young Americans and Western Europeans.

It is time for reasonable people to just say enough. Congress to say enough. Leaders in western Europe to say enough, while there is some hope of a semblance of peace and prosperity for the future.
