TRUMP FOREIGN POLICY COMPARED TO 40 YEARS OF CHAOS

MEDIA IGNORES HUGE SUCCESS OF TRUMP FOREIGN POLICY 

The foreign policy of Obama/Biden was a continuing policy that seems to have been orchestrated by the entrenched bureaucrats in the U.S. State department, the CIA and the Military Industrial complex. It was not much different from the policies that were part of the Bush, Clinton, Bush 2 administrations. It was basically a policy of regime change and destabilization in many parts of the world. It created a fear and distrust by many nations that they will be next on the list of nations targeted by the United States.

After the success of Ronald Reagan's foreign policy, when we were respected and trusted by much of the world, we seem to go into a strategy of using the fact that we were the only remaining super power and use that power to destabilize and rebuild the world to our desires. This began in Iraq and Afghanistan. Then under the Obama/Biden administration we saw the United States orchestrate and support revolution in Ukraine, Syria, Egypt and Libya and interference in the Israeli and Russian elections.. Whether this was the overt plan of the Obama/Biden administration or just a lack of control of the bureaucracy we may never know, but from the language of Joe Biden he would again turn foreign policy over to the geniuses who have had this country spending its youth and treasure on endless conflicts without end. 

This destabilization resulted in the refuge disaster in Europe and in much of the world. It resulted in the death of hundreds of the thousands and the displacement of millions. It has been a colossal failure of policy.

In contrast, Donald Trump engaged the Muslim world in his first major initiative in the Saudi Arabian summit attended by most of the Arab world. It resulted in Saudi Arabia cracking down on Saudi citizens support of Sunni terrorists. This began the eliminating of support for Al Quada and other Sunni extremists.

The Trump administration then worked with the Iraqis and Kurd's and cooperated with the Syrian and Russian forces to literally destroy the ISIS caliphate. While there may be small remnants, they are few, and do not hold any territory. It is a fact that these ISIS fighters have been exterminated by the tens of thousands. This was accomplished by a climate of trust with all those who cooperated in this endeavor. 

The Trump administration, then cooperated with Turkey, Russia and Syria to begin the policy of stabilization of Syria. There is a plan to bring about a constitutional government to Syria that is supported by those nations in the region.

Trump was opposed by many in the state department and other bureaucracies for his approach, but it has been successful and those Arab countries have more trust in the United States. The fear mongering about the destruction of the Kurds and other U.S. allies has not happened.

Then there was the withdrawal from the Iran deal, considered a good deal by the Obama/Biden administration. This cut off funding for Shia terrorists in Syria, Libya, Iraq, Lebanon and North Africa. It has removed the financing of Hezbollah in Syria and Lebanon and with the elimination of Iran's top foreign terrorist general and his staff, the ability of Iran to destabilize the region is severely curtailed.

In the last few months we have seen the normalization of relations between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and now Sudan. This is full diplomatic recognition and includes commerce and travel. It is the most significant peace development in 40 years. There are now negotiations going on between Lebanon and Israel. It is hopefully the beginning of a realignment of the whole middle East.

The United States has the fewest Troops in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan in the last 18 years. There are peace discussions now ongoing  between the Taliban and the Afghan government.

Trump has been criticized for his dealings with NATO, but he has pressured, with success, to force the NATO members to abide to there commitments for monetary support of the alliance. It is now a stronger alliance than in the past.

Trump has made overtures to North Korea and established a dialogue with Kim Jung Un. No one can expect a country with the history of North Korea to flip on a dime in their policy, but it is a better situation than before and in time may actually bear fruit.

Trump has confronted China on their unfair trade practices, theft of intellectual material, and military expansion that has most of our Asian allies living in fear. Biden has voiced that he does not consider China a threat and would likely not make changes to previous China policy. There are enormous corporate forces in this country who are willing to sacrifice american jobs and security for the opportunity to buy low priced products to sell at huge profits in this country. Biden is being financed by many of these interests.

In the last election, Trump voiced his support for improved relations with Russia, this brought about a huge push back by the entrenched bureaucracy who made it impossible for Trump to have any dialogue with this strategic country. It has set back out relationship to near a cold war result. This is the desire of many in the bureaucracy, the question is why? Hopefully in a second administration he would be allowed to stop our slide into conflict with Russia.

An objective look at the results of a Trump foreign policy and the foreign policy of the past is a no brainer. Sadly there is no objective reporting or analysis in this country, everything is about  political advantage and the reacquiring of power. It would be a very sad development to return to the policies of the past.

Will 2020 be a 2016 repeat?

It looks like 2020 will be a very similar campaign as we saw in 2016. Joe Biden will have the same appeal as Hillary Clinton. He is the ultimate establishment candidate. He will be favored over Sanders and every advantage will be given him by the Democratic establishment. 

He will be supported by those who oppose any changes in trade rules. The same rules that he voted for in the past. The rules that have resulted in huge profits for international corporations while putting working class citizens on welfare and food stamps, resulting in a permanent dependent class. 

He will tout the advantages of unlimited immigration as the standard of America. 

He will support the foreign policy of the geniuses who have controlled foreign policy for the last 40 years.

He is the same progressive ideology of the rest of the democrats, but he will attempt to be the candidate of the middle class, he will attempt to revert back to the old standby stealth candidate on most issues. You can expect many generalities and few details. 

He is running as if he has already won the democratic nomination, and in effect he has done just that, not at the voting booth, but in the back rooms and board rooms of those who control the democratic party. 

While he will embrace most of the social and redistribution policies of the left, his main function will be to ensure the status quo of the present ruling class. To insure that they stay in power for decades to come. He will have the support of both the republican and democrat establishment. You can expect that the media will quickly jump on board to make him look the savior of the country.

You can expect to see many of the 20 candidates begin to drop out and pledge support for Biden in the coming months.

It will be interesting to see if Sanders and his supporters will allow it to happen again. The establishment doubts it can control Bernie Sanders.

The question is, can he keep up with Sanders and then Trump on the campaign trail, after being on the shelf for the last 10 years, does he have what it takes to complete the coming marathon?

How will he explain the comparison between 8 years as vice-president to the roaring economy of today?

HUNTER BIDEN EMAILS REVEAL MORE OF THE STORY

CLAIMS TO BE BAG MAN FOR DAD FOR 30 YEARS 

There is much controversy about emails found on a lap-top owned by Hunter Biden and dropped off at a Delaware Repair shop. It seems the lap-top was never reclaimed and then became the property of the shop owner. It seems this lap-top was turned over to the FBI in December 2019. The owner, concerned about his safety, also made copies and forwarded one to Rudy Guiliani. It seems it has been verified that this laptop was dropped off by Hunter Biden and that it is verified that the FBI has this laptop. 

It is common knowledge that Hunter Biden has had a troubled past, including drug use and improprieties with women. His partners in business Devon Archer and Bevan Cooney have been convicted of fraud in relation to investments by an Indian Tribe to the tune of over 50 million dollars, so far Biden has escaped prosecution in this matter. Bevan Cooney has just turned over thousands of emails to a media company.

Archer was also on the board of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma along with Hunter Biden. They were paid millions for serving on the board.  Archer was also part of the investment company that he and Biden were awarded the contract to invest 1.5 Billion of Chinese government money. Much of this money was invested in strategic minerals in Africa and dual military and commercial manufacturing companies. It has been reported that Biden won this contract after flying to China in Air Force 2 with his father Joe Biden.

It is reported that Hunter Biden has complained in emails that he has been supporting the whole family for 30 years. It is also reported to have complained that he has to give half his earnings to his father. If it is true that Hunter has been engaged in these activities for 30 years, that would mean he has been doing this since he was a young man. Is it possible he was instructed on who to contact and how to proceed and trusted that he was doing a good thing. As he grew up it could be devastating to learn that this trust had put him into a very vulnerable position that he would not likely be able to exit. While this is speculation it could explain the drug use and erratic behavior by someone who should have had a bright future. 

While we as yet do not know the whole story, it is obvious that Hunter Biden has been involved in corrupt dealings for a family member of a high government official. Can anyone believe he made these deals on his own? He had no skills in energy, did not speak Ukrainian, his only asset was his father, who claims he had no knowledge of his sons dealings. Why would the Chinese government award Hunter Biden the contract to invest $1.5 billion for them? Is he the most qualified investment banker available?

While the Biden's are now under the microscope, it should not be assumed that this just Democrat corruption. I believe that this is a symptom of wide spread third world type corruption engaged in by members of both parties, aided by government bureaucrats and often ignored by the media. The question is not if there is serious corruption in our federal government, but how widespread and how deep.  

Observations of Pennsylvania activists on both sides

 THREE MONTHS OF INTERACTION WITH POLITICAL ACTIVISTS

REPUBLICANS PRO TRUMP,  DEMOCRATS ANTI-TRUMP

For the last three months I have been able to be in a position to interact with political activists and supporters on both the Republican and Democrat sides. I admit, I have had more occasion to have personal contact with republican voters. The Democrat voters have been less, but no less informative to some dynamics of this election. My interaction with these voters has been mostly internet conversations, followed up with viewing the Facebook profiles of those with whom I had interaction. I had many face to face interactions with Republican, Democrat and Independent voters who are supporting Donald Trump. I have near 1000 interactions, skewed 10% anti-trump 90% pro-trump. I make no claim that my observations are in any way a scientific analysis.

First, in conversations with anti-Trump activists, they are clearly anti-Trump, not pro-Biden. I saw little if any clear support or proclamations to the virtues of Joe Biden. Many of the most vocal are clearly Bernie Sanders supporters. I took notice of the leading occupations and groups you could assign to these anti-Trump supporters. Also all these people on both sides reached out to me and volunteered  either their comments or conversation.  None of this is in any way connected to this blog.

Anti-Trumpers classified as the most virulent and also most in number.

1. College Professors

2. Musicians

3. Artists

4. Young white single females.

5. Immigrants, no way of knowing but appear undocumented.

6  LGBTQ  activists.

Interesting that hardly any responses by black voters or married white women.

Pro-Trump supporters.

1. Self -Employed

2. Small business owners and employees. 

3. Farmers

4. Married white women, many are also in group 5.

5. Christians and other people of faith

6. Constitution and 2nd amendment supporters.

Interesting that school teachers in elementary and high school were few and appeared in each group. Union members also few, but likely more in the Pro-Trump category from the trades and manufacturing unions.

Again, all this is unscientific and is just my personal first hand observation acquired in the course of my political activities. I see strong vigorous positive support from Pro-trump voters. I also heard from many first time voters and information concerning many signing up new voters. 

On the anti-Trump side I  cant say that I heard anyone extolling the virtues or positions of Joe Biden, it is all hatred of Trump. Also none of this suggests that this is a accurate cross section, but the most active who reached out to me.

I do see a large turnout, but we will have to see who turns out the most.

DEBATE COMMISSION DROPS FOREIGN POLICY QUESTIONS

With two weeks left until the election the media has gone all in a coordinated effort to elect Joe Biden. They have dropped all pretense of any objectivity, even if there was very little left. It is hard to believe that the media will ever be able to recover their credibility after the last 4 years.

They only want to discuss the Corona virus, more case, more hospitalizations, more deaths, all because of Trump. The virus must be polling as the top negative issue for Trump. There is no mention of issues, like immigration, trade, foreign policy or taxes. The debate commission has dropped all issues to be discussed except the virus and civil unrest, which they are attempting to spin to be the fault of Trump and white supremacists.

This past week social media stepped up to protect Biden from any negative news. It has gone as far as to block Trump and members of his administration. Blocking of conservative commentary has been going on for some time, but now is near a total embargo. Even this blog, which is admitted to favor conservative positions has been totally blocked for months. It is blocked, by Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Mix, and Pinterest. The first occurrences were for several days or a week. This occurred with articles about Michael Bloomberg and Jeffery Epstein. Then several months ago it was totally blocked on social media. Any inquiry responds that site does not conform to community standards. There has never been any advocacy for violence, illegal behavior, porn or anything that is in their community standards guidelines. It appears they have also gone all in on censorship and effecting the outcome of the political debate in this country. It may be the biggest threat to self government this country has ever experienced.

It seems that even though Biden has been leading in most of the polls, there is a certain desperation in their behavior.  Memories of 2016 are still waking these people up at night. I recall exactly 2 weeks before the election in 2016, MSNBC was speculating that Trump may be the first presidential candidate to not carry a single state in that election. Trump is actually polling better this year than in 2016. 

Polling is to me now a questionable practice. Unlike the 70's 80's and 90's and even early 2000's many homes no longer have land lines. If they do, they have an answering machine and just return calls. Cell phone numbers often are not available, and if they are, again often screened by the owners.  In conversations with people doing polling and campaigns who make phone calls, they are lucky to have a 10% answer rate. Digging deeper it appears this is mostly elderly people with land lines, and possibly lonely, and willing to talk to anyone.

In two weeks maybe this election will be over. The repercussions will go on much longer. Things will never be the same. You can also bet we will not descend into an era of peace and tranquility, no matter the outcome. This election is just another battle in the war over the direction of this country. I suspect that unless you are relatively young, you will not see the final outcome.

 LOTS OF RHETORIC ABOUT BUY AMERICA, BUT NO SUBSTANCE

PROPOSES LOTS OF GOVERNMENT TAX CREDITS AND SUBSIDIES BUT NO NEW TRADE NEGOTIATIONS

Joe Biden has routinely criticized Donald Trump's trade policies. He advocates that disputes should be handled at the World Trade Organization and that any trade negotiations should focus on labor and environmental standards. His main strategy in his "Buy America", program is to enforce labeling rules as to country of origin and encourage through legislation more union ability to organize. He believes that Trade agreements should be large international deals rather than one on one negotiations between the United States and its trading partners. He also discounts the use of tariff's as a negotiating tool as costing Americans with increased costs of imported goods. While this could be true in some instances, most exporters have either adjusted their currency value or subsidized their products in an effort to avoid losing market share.

Biden was an advocate of the North America Free Trade Agreement, recently replaced by the Trump administration. He still defends that trade deal.

Biden is still an advocate of a large Asia Pacific Trade Deal. This trade deal was rejected by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Trump administration mostly because it takes the ability to control trade policy out of the hands of U.S. elected officials and places it in a international bureaucracy. Often these large foreign trade organizations take years to settle disputes and are often biased and open to the possibility of corruption in favor of those who offer the best bribes. The Trump administration has favored unilateral control of our trade policies.

Biden has been quoted as believing China is not an economic or military threat to the United States. His campaign has been financed to the tune of 100's of million dollars of corporate money by companies who favor the present trade policies with China.

The Trump administration has been successful in negotiating new trade agreements, with Mexico, Canada, Japan and South Korea also a partial deal with China. Negotiations continue with India, the E.U. Brazil and Argentina. It is expected that a deal will be negotiated with UK as soon as they have completed their negotiations with EU.

The policy of the Trump administration is Fair and reciprocal trade. This means if they have tariffs on U.S. products we will tariff their products. If they want complete tariff free trade we will reciprocate. Many countries have rules that protect their products, particularly their agricultural and food products. Most have tariffs on U.S. auto's but we have not placed tariff's on their auto's. These unfair trade deals were long overdue for renegotiation. Free but reciprocal trade will open up many opportunities for american companies and workers. One on One trade policies will give the United states quick and strong ability to control and enforce trade agreements.

Democrat senators worry Barrett will accurately interpret Constitution

 FEAR IMPROPER PRECEDENTS WILL BE OVERTURNED

CALL ACCURATE INTERPRETATIONS ,"JUDICIAL ACTIVISM"

It is clear from two days of hearings by the Senate Judicial committee that Amy Coney Barrett is well qualified to be a Supreme Court Justice. That has never been the concern of the Democrat side of the hearings. Their concern is that she will make her decisions based on the Law and the Constitution. That she will not allow emotions or her own personal feelings or inclinations to sway her away from the meaning of the text at the time it was written. It is as it should be. The Constitution is the law for the Government. It is a restraint on congress and the government. It is strictly and clearly written that the government and congress only have the authority to regulate what is clearly defined by the constitution. All other matters, powers and authority is to remain with states and the people.

For two days their inference is that even wrongly decided cases are now precedent and while possibly in error they are now the law of the land. Making any changes or interpretation that overturns previous precedent is not in the best interest of the country. While overturning previous ruling of the court would be possibly uncomfortable and require an adjustment by the country, so did judgments that were made without conforming to the law. 

Much of the division in the country has been created by judicial activism that have found interpretations that took on power that was not granted to the federal 'government. The Constitution has a provision through the amendment process to make changes to the constitution possible. It is a lengthy process requiring consent of the states by a 2/3 majority. It is as it should be. 

It is true that many things are different since 1781. It is possible that some changes will need to be made. Women won the right to vote by the amendment process, by the time of its passing it was accepted by a strong majority of the people. It ended there, there was not decades of fighting and controversy.

The major concerns of the democrat senators is Roe vs Wade, legalizing abortion, which by the way had provisions concerning viability. They do not even want to conform to their own sacred precedent. Any overturning of this ruling will not outlaw abortion, but will take it out of the federal domain and put it were it belonged all along, with the states. We will then have different rules as we can imagine. The people of the states can sort them out and come to a peaceful satisfactory agreement for their state. It would be a blessing to get this out of the federal controversy.

Same for Gay marriage. The arrogance of 5 judges to redefine the definition of marriage that has been the basis of society for thousands of years. It could not even pass a referendum in California, yet 5 judges found a way to proclaim it a constitutional right.

There other concern is the Affordable care Act, again another sacred precedent without the foundation of the constitution, there is no provision in the constitution that gives the federal government the authority to impose a national healthcare system. If the citizens want a national healthcare system then start the amendment process and get the 2/3 of the states to ratify and it will be the law of the land. It will also have the support of the whole country not just one party.

The Constitution and the bill of rights are remarkable documents. They created a system with certain rights for the states and certain enumerated rights defined for the Federal government. It was the fear of the founders that a power hungry federal bureaucracy would expand its power until it became a all encompassing authority for the country. They were so right and so wise to understand this. The Federal Court is supposed to be a buffer between the Federal government and the states and people. To have a peaceful united country we need a strict solid system of law, that is not redefined by cause of the moment, but by a process that ensures the acceptance of the vast majority.
