No Red wave, maybe the days of waves are over.

COULD BE THAT MUCH OF THE POLARIZATION IN THE COUNTRY IS NOW PERMANENT

RURAL VS URBAN, NORTH VS SOUTH

While many will be disappointed today, it maybe should have been expected, that large swings in the house and senate are now a thing of the past. The country has more or less dug into their positions, whether right or wrong and it will possibly take suffering and catastrophe to change the dynamic of this political system.

The country is divided as never before, both sides look at the other as the enemy, some of this is actually true. The divide is definitely rural vs urban, and may not change until things get much worse in the urban environment, which could be expected.

The problems of inflation and shortages are not going to go away and the quality of life in America is going to decline. The best that could have been hoped for was a restraint on the excesses of the Biden administration and there may be some of that, but not enough that the woke left will not declare victory and a doubling down on their policies. We can expect that the country will continue to decline into its high position of third world standards.

The election system is still a mess, a mess that can serve the interests of those who want to manipulate the system. Without election reform the country is doomed to chaos. Chaos may very well be the goal of some.

While the future political system is likely to be worse at home, the crisis developing in the rest of world, may change the future of the country more than elections at home. Much of the future is baked in, except for the details, which could go from bad to catastrophe in an instant. I expect this administration will also double down on their dangerous foreign policy. It could be that destiny is what awaits.
