Zuckerberg testifies to caving to pressure from FBI and White House.

 CENSORSHIP FOR POLITICAL POWER ACKNOWLEDGED

ZUCKERBERG KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING

Mark Zuckerberg has testified before the House judiciary committee that Meta or Facebook was pressured by the FBI to kill the Hunter Biden laptop story leading up to the 2020 election. He also testified that he was pressured to block any analysis that questioned the MRNA vaccine or other opinions about Covid. He testified that both White House and the FBI told him that the Biden corruption story was Russian disinformation, when it was known by the FBI to be a true and accurate story since they actually had the laptop long before this pressure was exerted.

Zuckerberg has released a letter apologizing for this censorship and pledges to not engage in similar censorship. It is more likely that he is attempting to cover himself in the event that Donald Trump should be elected president. There are plenty of indications that Facebook is still engaging in government inspired censorship.

I found that I had stories on Bloomberg and Jeffrey Epstein blocked on fakebook years ago and my blog is still blocked on facebook. In the last week I have been blocked for advertising Trump yard signs on facebook marketplace and am still blocked from any activities on marketplace. These same signs and ads were placed in earlier election cycles without incident, but what changed is anyone's guess. No policy against political signs was ever listed by facebook. Facebook never actually tells you what is their problem, but just arbitrarily suspends or blocks you without any reasons. I suspect they do not want to put in writing that they are engaging in political censorship.

While Zuckerberg's revelation or I should say verification of what everyone already knew is a serious examples of government abuse of power, it is still ongoing and most likely will escalate during this election. The Washington Post and New York Times have failed to report on Zuckerberg's testimony. I suppose their handlers in the intelligence community have vetoed any such stories.

It has previously been revealed under testimony that the FBI actually had staff on on all the social media platforms. This was revealed by investigations into Twitter in the past. It seems likely that they also have staff or continuous communication with the print and cable news media. I suspect that real free political speech is a thing of the past. 

The people continually talking about threats to democracy are the very same people who are engaging in abuse of government power and are the real threat to democracy. I suspect that the majority of democrats support this activity, if it will enhance their possibility of victory.

Ukraine in dire straits.

 NO GOOD NEWS FOR UKRAINE

LOSING ON EVERY FRONT

The Russians are advancing in every area of the eastern conflict zone. In some areas they are moving with only limited opposition, in some, there is heavy fighting, but the advance continues and is accelerating. It seems that Ukraine is going to make a stand at a place called Pokrovsk. It is shaping up to be a battle similar to Bakemut, Avdiivka or Mariupol, but if it falls, there may be little resistance to the Dnieper river.

It is reported that the Ukrainians are exhausted both physically and emotionally and can not continue under the constant assault for much longer.

In Kursk it is reported that the initial force of 12,000 has lost over 6600 of its soldiers, along with much of its major equipment. They have been unable to make any advances and it is reported that they are holed up in forests and in rough terrain. It is appearing that if no rescue by a major force, they may not even be able to retreat. 

Talks of negotiations and deals are mostly now becoming wishful thinking. The experience of Russia with any deals from the ill fated Minsk accords, the Turkish negotiations and even recently before the Kursk offensive, have likely ended any negotiated settlement without surrender.

It seems every negotiation has been used to rearm or stall for time. It may be that there will not be any negotiations until Russia reaches the Dnieper river at which point there may be another chance at a negotiated settlement, but it will not be in Ukraines favor. 

Northampton Republican committee enters yard sign war?

YARD SIGNS SHOULD BE ABOUT SHOWING SUPPORT

The election year yard sign wars are underway, but this year it turns out to be an internal war over who should profit from yard sign sales.

In the past two election cycles there has been a grassroots effort to show support for Donald Trump. This of course was demonstrated by the large number of yard signs that sprouted all over this state and in many other states. These signs were privately purchased and distributed by unpaid volunteers who transported them and often paid for them and gave them to family and friends. The price of these signs was the made up of the manufacturing cost and transportation cost. It was truly a grassroots endeavor that often resulted in new friends and a feeling of comradery with like minded citizens. 

Well, now something new has been added, while these signs often provoked anxiety from democrats who sometimes showed their displeasure by obscenities and even vandalism, this year the anxiety has actually become and internal dispute in the republican party, at least in Northampton county.

In fact, it may be a purely Northampton county thing as many of the other county committee's have purchased these signs and distributed in their counties, as did Northampton county in the past.

But this year it is reported that the leadership of the Northampton county committee has declared war on grassroots yard signs by demanding they be taken down and even complaining to facebook about them being advertised for sale.

It seems the Northampton committee feels that their plan to sell the free signs paid for by the National campaign for $5.00 each will be hindered by the grassroots signs sold for under $2.00. 

The idea of yard signs is mostly about showing support for the candidate of ones choice, it is not about profit or control by some hierarchy, it is just one of the aspects of free speech that is part to this country's history and should be respected and protected by not only both parties, but especially within a party that is supposedly supporting the same candidate.

Direct advertising by Pharma: A big mistake.

PRESENT DRUG CULTURE OUT OF CONTROL

There was a time when drug companies were not allowed to directly advertise their products to the public. The first modern drug ad was aired on May 19, 1983. These regulations were further relaxed by the FDA in the early 1990's. Prescription drug advertising has risen from $166 million in 1993 to over $20 billion today. While some may claim that it gives consumers a better view of what is available, it has also created enormous distortions in several areas.

Before regulation, many drugs were direct marked to consumers, most contained addictive medications like cocaine in Coca Cola or opiates in Laudanum, which were widely used. Many drugs were later viewed with suspicion when the addictive features of these drugs were revealed. The drug industry took a great step to universal acceptance with the discovery of antibiotics like penicillin and later sulfa drugs that saved millions of lives. They mostly dealt with severe injuries and infection that was a prevalent cause of death. 

The introduction of  vaccines like smallpox 1796 and polio in 1955 and many other advances has led to the aura of miracle drugs. Many of these discoveries were indeed just that, saving many from early death and disability. 

Today's pharmaceutical industry is now very big business and it seems that its focus is now on maintenance drugs. These are drugs that people are expected to take everyday for the rest of their lives. Often these drugs replace what could be accomplished by lifestyle changes of diet and exercise. Many now have a supply of multiple prescription drugs that are viewed by prospective patients through direct advertising. Doctors are pressured by their patients to be prescribed these well advertised drugs. With the decline of independent private doctors we can expect that they will be given what they desire. 

At the same time the money received by the media has skewed their reporting on any adverse or problems with over drug use. They are unlikely to do stories that kill the golden goose. 

Then there is the large amount of money that has been injected into the medical teaching universities that recommend drug therapy for most every ill. It is also prevalent within the regulatory agencies as much of this research is paid for by the pharmaceutical industry. Then, of course, the amount of money contributed to politicians, particularly those who influence regulation.

I believe the present era of drug therapies will someday be viewed in the same way as many drugs before regulation. The reality is, Americans in particular, are becoming less healthy and are suffering from many chronic conditions that are related to lifestyle, drugs only mask or minimally remedy these conditions. Then the cocktail of many drugs are in fact a severe problem in themselves.

There is actually some hope as the internet and independent media has sprouted that is giving another opinion and showcasing therapies of diet and lifestyle changes that can be accomplished without drugs. The hope is that these ideas can be accepted before ones health has deteriorated to a point of no return.

Is RFK jr. the last of the old democrats?

MAYBE BECAUSE HE IS AN HONEST MAN

The new Democrats refused to engage in a primary election in an effort to keep their hold on power. This party is the party of one party rule and that rule is destroying the country to the point of possible imminent destruction. RFK jr attempted to run as a democrat in an effort to give democrats a choice, the powers that be made sure that would never happen. Rather than engage in a debate about polices and a vision for America, it is all about demonizing the opposition and using the power of government to hamper the opposition at every opportunity.

RFK jr is an honest man, someone who resembles the democrats of old. Someone who believes that there may be more than one path to make the country a better place. He most likely will be the last old time democrat to ever attempt to run for office. We have seen the demise of the Manchins, Lieberman's and the likes of John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy and other honest and respectable democrats. There is no place in the present democrat party for people of their view of what it means to be an opposition party. It is all about one party rule at any cost to the party or to the country.

So now that he has made the decision to endorse Trump, in what he believes is in the best interest of the country, we can expect he will be even furthur demonized and attacked by the party, the media and possibly the government bureaucracy. Traitors to the cause must be made an example of after all.

Is something big coming in Ukraine?

 UKRAINE MOVING TROOPS TO KURSK

NATO IN GERMANY ON HIGH ALERT

It is a fact that much of war is disinformation and out maneuvering your enemy. It seems that there is either an escalation of  psych ops or something is changing on the Ukraine battlefield. 

There are several reports of large numbers of Ukrainian troops massing south of Kursk. It is reported that many of these troops have been redeployed from the eastern front where Russia is making large gains every day. At the same time there are reports that NATO airfields in Germany are on high alert and have evacuated non-essential personnel. So, what could be going on?

One option would be that Ukraine has given up defending the eastern field and are hoping to make a major offensive into Russia. This could be real or a ploy to force Russia to re deploy troops from the east where they have the momentum. 

Another is that Ukraine, aided by NATO, is going to attempt a major assault into Russia. This could entail NATO air support that would be essential for any serious attack into Russia.

Then possibly Ukraine has word that Russia is going to start a major offense to capture Kiev and end the conflict. These new troops movement would be an attempt to defend such an attack.

It can be expected that Russia knows all about these movements since it seems to be common knowledge. The reality is that Ukraine is in retreat all along the eastern front and after a few more major positions falling, may be in full retreat. 

There may be a possibility of some sort of final all out battle that will end this conflict.

Democrats, all show, no positive policy.

 TALK ABOUT THE THE BORDER AND INFLATION, BUT NO EXPECTATION OF ACTION

Interesting how the democrats have the opportunity to lay out their vision for the future of America, but it is clear, they have no positive vision for America. Their vision is just more of the same, open borders, not punishing criminal behavior and spending the country into financial ruin. Then on the world stage, moving the world to the brink of WW3. Are we to expect a positive diplomatic policy from Kamala and Walz, probably the least qualified people to ever run for high office. 

It seems they are relying on the same campaign agenda as the last two elections.We are not Donald Trump, who they claim is a threat to democracy, when in fact, the democrats have proved in the last 3 1/2 years that they are the greatest threat to democracy both here and around the world. 

A party that has not had an honest primary election in 3 election cycles. That has used the legal system to prosecute and punish the opposition, that has colluded with the media to censure and restrain free speech. It may be the worst display of authoritarianism, in my lifetime at least. 

Then there is their embrace of the worst kind of child abuse ever in demanding that minors can be surgically and chemically altered in an attempt to change their sex. This can only be classified as the worst kind of evil.

Whatever happens in the future for this country, whether from the actual action of the electorate or the manipulation of the election process. this democrat party has damaged the country for the foreseeable future, no matter who is elected to office. The country is divided internally, and they have set the world on fire, they are not just misguided, but the architects of chaos, death and destruction. 

Has NATO already entered Ukraine war?

 IS KURSK A NATO OPERATION?

REPORTS OF NATO TROOPS IN RUSSIA

There are reports that all the equipment in the Kursk incursion are new NATO hardware. It also has been reported that there are communications being surveilled in Polish, French and English. There are indications that his incursion was practiced for in Germany, the Uk and Poland and is now manned by some western troops. If this is the case, how long until this becomes an all out NATO war.

This incursion is now 2 weeks old and there has been little advances made in the last 6 days. While the Ukrainians have destroyed the 3 bridges over the Seym river in an effort to slow the Russian reinforcements, everyday that passes is to the Russian advantage. If there are in fact western troops there, they will soon be identified by bodies and prisoners. This will create an incentive to rescue this operation by escalation. 

The Russians are being effective at destroying supplies on the way to the front, both in Ukraine and now possibly Poland. It is suspected that Russia would like to annihilate these invaders rather than allow a retreat. We can expect to see within days which way this action is going to end. If the Ukrainians can manage to hold on it will require a large commitment of men and supplies, a drain on what is needed on the eastern front.

In the eastern front, the Russians are making accelerating gains every day, the Ukrainian pivotal cites of New York and Chasiv Yar have fallen and others are losing ground by the day. It is unlikely that this Russian momentum can be reversed without western troops on the ground for assistance. 

While talk of negotiations is reported, it does not seem that any serious negotiations are underway. It appears that this conflict is going to be decided on the battlefield.

Price controls, More election year nonsense.

WILL BIG DONORS BE EXEMPT?

Kamala Harris and Casey of Pennsylvania are running on controlling prices in an effort to control inflation. They claim that price increases are due to corporate greed, and they will prosecute those who they deem as gougers. They actually are not talking about price controls or freezing prices, but selective punishment of those who may not be politically correct or are not donors to the democrat party. It looks like another form of using the law for political purposes. 

The last time price controls were used was in 1970's by Richard Nixon. It was not just price controls but, "Wage and Price controls". It was an attempt to control inflation that was ignited by the previous democrat administration's deficit spending on new social programs and the Vietnam war. It was a dismal failure, and like in the Soviet Union, it created all kinds of distortions in the marketplace, like shortages and actually a black market in controlled goods.  Before that, it was only implemented in WW2 along with rationing, but if you had the dollars, you could get what you wanted.

This is obviously another election year appeal to those who are envious of corporate or business profits. Some believe that profit is, in fact, something the government should control. If you think that inflation is bad, you will find something a lot worse if these policies should be implemented.

First off, who is going to decide who is engaging in supposed gouging, folks like Kamala and Casey who have never had a job or worked in the actual marketplace in their life. It can only lead to selective enforcement on those deemed not supporting their agenda or causes. it will be a disaster and will undoubtedly be used as a political weapon. Does anyone believe that big democrat donors will be charged with gouging? I suspect it will be just a further advancement of the fascist cooperation between the government and some businesses. Will the media or silicon valley be targeted? Will the Teachers union be banned from more raises and pension gouging? I suspect they will target the energy sector and the food sector, both of which operate on the smallest of margins in the economy. 

They usually point to billion in profits by some select energy company, never being objective about the Trillions of investment in plant and equipment. Many actually would like the government to take control of the food and energy sectors, a disaster of the worst kind, it would soon end in famine and freezing.

The reality is that price controls will unlikely ever be implemented and if they are it will be very short lived. The real cause of inflation is government policy. Either for restrictions on the production of energy, like the Biden/Harris team did as soon as they took office, coupled with massive amounts of deficit spending, that is continuing as we watch them engage in election years nonsense.

Kamala and Casey should look in the mirror and they will see the real causes of inflation.

Trump assassination attempt investigation or ?

 5 WEEKS AND NO MORE INFORMATION

CROOKS CREMATED BEFORE AUTOPSY RELEASE

It has been over 5 weeks since the attempted assassination of Donald Trump and we know little more than we knew in the first few days. There are disturbing signs that something is not right about this investigation. Is it just slow progress or are there orders that his affair should be slow walked until after the election. Or is this just another massive cover up by the FBI.

The autopsy report has been delayed several times. I would expect this is not something that in today's world is a complicated issue. Then it is revealed that the FBI allowed Crooks body to be cremated 10 days after his death and before any report was released.  This makes any further questions asked, to be never answered.

Many are wondering about the history of this assailant. His work history, where has he been for the last few years, no answers, and it seems no one is even asking those questions. Usually the media has investigators combing such a person's past in fine detail, not this time. The only small facts revealed that he had encrypted accounts and had been practicing at a homeland security firing range.

The NSA has the information available to see every email, conversation or messages both received and sent by the assailant. It seems this assasination is on the road to being a closed case, without ever revealing any real information. A perfect formula for a never ending series of theories and another reason to not trust any part of the present federal government.

Kursk incursion may end in trap.

 ADVANCE STOPPED IN NORTH AND EAST

ADVANCE TO WEST LAST HOPE

The Ukrainian attack into Russia is now at a pivotal stage.  This attack was in an area lightly defended by border patrol and local reservists, who were overwhelmed by this well planned and executed invasion. It has now been 1 week and it appears the ability of Ukraine to advance to the north has been stopped. It is very close to being cut off in the east. That leaves just the possibility of advancing to the west and if they can accomplish a meeting of new troops in that area, they may be able to hold on for some time. If they are unable to do that, they risk being trapped on 3 sides and left with the possibility of being annihilated or forced to retreat. This should be decided in the next few days.

No one really understands for sure what the objective of this attack is other than giving hope to their suppliers that they may still prevail or to sow discord inside Russia. Some believe it was a negotiating tool in the ongoing talks, but it is reported that Russia has now cancelled any further talks. 

The reality is that if they can hold on to this area, they will need to be supplied with men and materials, that are already in short supply. The Russians are advancing at an accelerating rate all along the eastern front, possibly enhanced by Ukraine shifting troops for the Kursk invasion.

It does appear that Ukraine is making desperate decisions because it understands that the present course of the conflict is getting unsustainable.

The reality is that Ukraine has been fighting a retreating battle for over a year. The last years spring offensive was supposed to hobble Russia, maybe recapture Crimea and then place Ukraine in a negotiating position. None of that has happened and it is likely this conflict will only end in a defeat and surrender.

With hundreds of thousands of dead and wounded and a loss of the manufacturing base of the country, there is no good outcome left for Ukraine. The west, and the likes of Lindsey Graham are just excited by the hope of damage to Russia. The Ukrainians are just so much fodder for that purpose.

No attack from Iran, Now Israel attack on Iran imminent.

 LOOKS LIKE MAJOR WAR, ONE WAY OR ANOTHER

THERE WILL BE NO WINNERS

It seems an Israeli attack on Iran is coming, the only way of stopping it is for the U.S. to publicly announce they will not defend Israel after such an attack. A very tough spot for the Biden administration. 

Israel has attacked Iran before, but most believe it is far more dangerous than ever before. Iran has been holding off on responding to Israel's attack in Tehran last week, but they do have the capacity to seriously damage Israel, if it comes to all out war. It could very possibly create a situation were Israel is forced to use tactical nuclear weapons to insure its survival. It can also solidify support for Iran from Turkey, Russia, China and even nuclear armed Pakistan.

While Iran has not fulfilled its promise to respond to Israel's attack, just the threat of such an attack is taking a toll on Israel. The cost to its economy is escalating. Many workers are activated into the military, its airspace is restricted. and many of its citizens are considering taking advantage of their duel citizenship status and actually leaving the country. It is reported that near 500,000 have left the country.

While most claim that Iran does not have nuclear weapons, it cannot be assured. Iran does have the ability and the weapons to inflict devastating damage to Israel, without the use of nuclear weapons. It seems that this confrontation is on a road to being realized if no deescalation comes and very quickly.

A widespread regional conflict will trigger repercussions around the world, without no one being able to predict were it will end. It will entail, economic, social and military destruction on a very large scale.  Hard to imagine any winners.

Ukraine's desperate actions will not change outcome of conflict.

 LITTLE CHANCE OF IMPROVING NEGOTIATING POSITION

RUSSIA'S DEMANDS WILL NOT CHANGE

Much has been made of Ukraine's incursion into Russia into the Kursk region, it will not have any effect on the outcome of this conflict. While Ukraine has made inroads, Russia is very predictable in their strategy.  They seem to be very methodical in setting up defensive lines, then proceeding to grinding down their opponent with overwhelming artillery and drone attacks. There never seems to be a timetable or a rush to end the conflict, just a steady attrition, we can expect the same in Kursk. Ukraine has now legnthened the conflict line that it now has to support with men and equipment.

No one is sure what the hopes of Ukraine were with this offensive. Some believe they hoped to quickly move north and capture the Kursk nuclear plant and agree to trade it for the Zaporizhzhia nuclear  plant controlled by the Russians. Some speculate that they hope to use this incursion as a bargaining tool in negotiations. No one knows for sure.

The reality is that the Russian's continue to make daily advances all along the conflict line in the east. It is the same slow deliberate attrition of men and equipment that seems to be the Russian tactic. We see that the massive supply of supplies and equipment from the west is not changing the course of this battle. The economic and social costs to the west are increasing, with unrest due to inflation and a decline in prosperity. It is a war of attrition not only on the manpower of Ukraine, but also on the ability of the west to continue their support. 

Russia is clear about its position, the same position it held before the outbreak of hostilities, the same position it held for the last 20 years. No NATO expansion to the borders of Russia. All that has changed is that Ukraine is now smaller in territory and is continually shrinking. Its economy is near non-existent and is wholly dependent on the west for support, a situation that may last for years.

There is no solution that will not require a losing of face by the west or an escalation that will result in more death and destruction for everyone.

IS THE U.S. GOVT ENGAGING IN ELECTRONIC WARFARE AT HOME?

It is amazing that so many seemed outraged that Elon Musk engaged in a conversation with Donald Trump, the republican candidate for president. It is a indictment on the state of real democracy in this country. Free speech is the bedrock of a free people. The reality is, free speech is under attack everywhere in the western world, the supposed defender of democracy and self government. 

We see the UK trying to introduce criminal penalties on anyone who offends or opposes government policy. they, of course, call it misinformation or could cause distrust among the population. The reality is, most western governments are losing the trust of their populations because they have been caught lying about almost everything.

Remember when the Mueller investigation indicted near a dozen Russians as being responsible for hacking the DNC. When these same Russians sent attorneys to prepare for a trial, it all disappeared without any further action. Later Crowdstrike testified that the hack was not a hack at all, but a download from the DNS by someone on the inside. This testimony was buried by shifty Adam Shiff. Of course most, especially democrats, would like to believe the Russians did it to aid Donald Trump.

Then of course, there is the infamous, " weapons of mass destruction" in Iraq. A lie so the U.S. could spend 20 years at war in Iraq. 

Then there is the 51 former intelligence agency officials who signed a letter swearing that the Hunter Biden corruption was all a product of, you guessed it, Russian disinformation, a blatant lie during an election.

Now we are told that that the Iranians are hacking the DNC and RNC and the Trump campaign, I suspect the worst will be the Trump campaign. There also  seems that there was some kind of an attack on X last night. Will it be the Iranians, Russians or Chinese who will be blamed? 

With the history of the U.S. intelligence community, they should be the first suspect. Truly a serious threat to democracy.

 SCOTT RITTER 'S HOUSE RAIDED BY FBI

TULSI GABBARD PLACED ON TERRORIST WATCH LIST

It seems the ruling elite is feeling it needs to suppress any opposition, it is a sign they must believe they are losing the information war. While lies often are accepted in the short run, eventually they just lead to more lies and eventually a loss of credibility. a loss of credibility is an understatement when it comes to the U.S. intelligence community and the U.S. government. The same applies to the UK government, hence the unrest that now is getting out of control in that country.

Last week, Scott Ritter's house was raided by several dozen armed FBI agents. They confiscated all his electronic equipment, his writings, his records for the last 30 years and anything else they could carry off. It appears they are going to charge him with acting as an unregistered agent of a foreign country. This is based on the fact that he has written articles that have been published on RT the Russian media company. They claim that because he is paid for his writing he is now an agent of the Russian government.

Scott Ritter has a long history with the U.S. government. He was U.S. marine and also a U.S. member of the UN nuclear monitoring agency. He was involved in the nuclear disarmament talks and monitoring with Russia in the 1990's. He was a U.N. weapons inspector in Iraq prior to 2003 war. He distinguished himself by claiming that there were no nuclear or other weapons of mass destruction in Iraq in the lead up to the war. He was correct, as it turned out, but he was rewarded by suffering a severe beating by unknown assailants in his home town in upstate N.Y., he spent several weeks recovering in the hospital.

Later he was arrested for having child poronograhy on his compiuter, convicted, and spent some time in jail. It seems messages were sent to shut up, but it seems he is a very stubborn man.

Since the beginning of the Ukraine war. Scott has been in vocal opposition to the U.S. proxy war and the regime change policies of the U.S.. He has quite a bit of knowledge about this issue and has conveyed that fact in many forums on the internet. I suspect that is the root cause of the FBI raid on his home.

Tulsi Gabbard also has voiced opposition to U.S. policy and has now found herself and her husband on the terrorist watchlist. She and her husband have been subjected to thorough searches and humiliation every time she has attempted to fly. It has been revealed that she was placed on the terrorist watchlist.

Gabbard is a military veteran, a 4 time U.S. congress women and a former presidential candidate. She voice her concern in the 2020 Democrat debates and was labeled a Russian agent by none other than Hillary Clinton, because she was in opposition to much of U.S. foreign policy. I assume this is just a message and if she doesnt shut up, may expect more messages.

The use of the foreign agents law has been a hypocritical tool by this government, it was used against Paul Manafort and Gen. Michael Flynn, who were never agents of a foreign government. Manafort was a campaign adviser to a Ukrainian political campaign but not a lobbyist. The Lobbyist was democrat, Tony Podesta, brother of Clinton's campaign chairman John Podesta, he was never registered or charged. Flynn was accused of lobbying for Turkey, but he was never a real lobbyist, but did inquire about the position. 

Hunter Biden was paid to lobby and act as an agent of China, Ukraine, and several other countries, he was never registered or charged with a crime for this. The hypocrisy is outrageous  and is just another indication of the corruption rampant in this government.

This is just another indication of why the credibility of the government and media is at an all time low. 

Ukraine offensive in Kursk expands.

GAINS WILL HAVE LITTLE EFFECT ON OUTCOME

Ukraines 's offensive incursion into Russia has expanded and reached the limits of its ability to provide artillery cover. If they can move their artillery forward they may be able to increase their position, but it is inevitable that this will only be a temporary victory.

This incursion targeted the lightly fortifies northern Ukraine border and was with the use of its best troops. They were able to make sizable advances, this was aided by the lack of roads and the crowded highways that resulted from Russian civilians fleeing the area.

As time goes on and Russia is able to mobilize forces their progress will end and they will inevitably be forced to withdraw. 

While it is a psychological victory and may sow some discord in Russia it will not have any long lasting effect on the outcome of this conflict. 

More calls in Russia to increase the hostilities and seek to end this conflict as soon as possible.

In the east the Russians are making daily gains sometimes at an accelerating rate  as Ukraine is losing an estimated 2000 troops a day and conscription is unable to replace its lost soldiers. While Ukraine valiantly fights on, it is only a matter of time until this conflict will no longer be sustainable.

Are VP picks all about job security?

ESPECIALLY BETTER FOR THE PARTY OR DEEP STATE 

Many now believe that Kamala Harris, or her handlers, picked Tim Walz over Josh Shapiro because of the Muslim vote over the Jewish vote. There was a time when VP picks were about capturing the electoral votes of particular state or adding a degree of competency in some area. It seems in today's volatile and chaotic times security is now the defining ingredient in picks of a Vice-President. 

One can assume that Trump, after just experiencing an attempt on his life, may have chosen J.D. Vance as the lesser choice of the bureaucracy and elite power brokers and may diminish future attempt on his life. Would Nikki Haley as Vice President made Trump's position more secure? If Trump would have succumbed to this attempt on his life, Who do you believe would have been the presidential candidate after convention?

Kamala Harris, and her handlers may have judged that Josh Shapiro would be more electable than her and her future could be aborted by any number of actions, particularly at the convention.

I can assume that many will consider this a cynical and conspiracy theory type of consideration, but I do not doubt that these calculations are now part of the decision making by Presidential candidates.

Bidens pick of Kamala Harris is a good example. Trump's pick of Pence is another. 

We can also even consider the ramifications of Ronald Reagan's pick of George Bush, former CIA director and first choice of the elite power brokers in 1980. An attempted assassination ensued within a very short time, maybe a coincidence.

The choice of a running mate is becoming a much more complicated decision in this new environment.

The latest talking point on mainstream media is for Democrats to refer to Republicans as Weird. This is a very strange choice for a party that seems to be obsessed with making weirdos mainstream in their party.

How about Rachel Levine. Formerly Richard Levine, now Secretary of Health in the Democrat Biden/Harris administration. An admiral in the U.S. Navy, who may have never been on a ship and it seems main claim to fame is poster boy or girl for the Trans cult. Weird

How about Sam Brinton, a Democrat appointment as the Assistant Secretary for spent fuel and waste disposal in the Biden/Harris administration. Was forced to resign after being charged with luggage thefts in airports on 3 occasions. Would you consider all this, Very Weird.

How about the much celebrated Pete Buttigieg, who shortly after being named Secretary of Transportation by Biden/Harris, took a 2 month maternity/paternity leave that created lots of chaos in the transportation department. Just a little weird.

How about Janet Yellin, secretary of treasury in the Biden/Harris administration. Infamous for partaking of psychedelic mushrooms while on official business in China. Publicly stated that Deficit spending is not related or the cause of inflation. Her speeches often raise the issue of drug testing for government employees. More Weird.

Then of course there is the current vice president and current democrat candidate for president, Kamala Harris. A San Francisco attorney and former California attorney general, a protégé of San Francisco's power broker Willie Brown and noted for her speeches that again call for drug testing of politicians. Her latest that she seems to repeat at every appearance has many stumped, "I can imagine what will be, unburdened by what was"  She is very weird for a prospective president.

So, much of this started concerning remarks by J.D.Vance and about family, having children and the benefits to individuals and society. Now considered weird by much of the democrat party. Obviously weird is now in the eye of the beholder, but does showcase the gulf between the political parties in this country.

War imminent in middle east.

 PREPARATIONS FOR WAR UNDERWAY

U.S. GENERAL IN TEL AVIV, RUSSIANS IN TEHRAN

The onset of a major war in the middle east is expected at anytime, but there may some last minute negotiations to cancel this war, we can expect some development within hours.

This weekend, most countries have evacuated their citizens from Lebanon. At the same time the Russian defense minister is in Tehran and it is reported that an air lift of materials is being delivered to Iran from Russia. It is speculated that this is mostly electronic countermeasures defensive materials, but no one knows for sure. It could be sophisticated anti-ship missiles.

U.S. bases in Iraq have been attacked with injuries.

A U.S. general is in Tel Aviv to coordinate U.S. assistance if this war breaks out. 

So far, major hostilities have not broken out and there are reports that the U.S. has offered to lift some sanctions against Iran, if it declines to respond to Israel's attack on Iran last week. This will be meaningless unless some sort of restraint can be leveraged against Israel, not to attack Lebanon.

A major war in the middle east will without a doubt cause a worldwide economic crisis and the possibility of nuclear weapons being used, if Israel's existence is in doubt in such a war. It is without a doubt the most dangerous situation since 1972. 

There may be hope, because the major countries in the region do not want a war. That includes Iran, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Possibly being on the precipice of a destructive war will be enough incentive for real negotiations with a real settlement of this crisis. It may indeed be a last chance for all involved.

Time for real political debates, not media productions.

 DEBATES SHOULD BE MANDATORY

JUST THE CANDIDATES, NO MEDIA PERSONALITIES

We are again in the election season where debates have became a media event, dominated by media personalities and shifting rules and agendas.  It is time to eliminate all the nonsense and go back to real debates, a debate between the two candidates, where they develop and ask the questions of each other. 

They could agree on rules that would decide which policies to debate, the time for answers and responses and a moderator that could enforce these rules. Very simple, not subject to biased abuse or the risk of someone leaking the questions beforehand.

This would be a valuable tool for the electorate to actually see the candidates in a real life situation, not rehearsed or compromised by media personalities who believe they should be the star of this process. All media should be invited to cover the event, from a distance, without spectators or a audience to distract from the debate. 

This actually should be a series of debates with actual policies discussed and debated. The real things that will affect all the citizens when one of these people are elected. In fact, they should become mandatory, to be clear about one's policies and their vision for the future. Let's skip all the nonsense and meaningless slogans and have real debates.

U.S. fleet to Mideast, Russian advances accelerate.

 CAN EXPANDED WAR BE AVOIDED?

IS THE WORLD DESTINED TO SELF DESTRUCT?

The U.S. announced that 12 ships are being deployed to the middle east, most likely to the Mediterranean sea. It is likely that major action will follow, shortly after they are in position. At the same time Russia is advancing at an accelerated rate every day. Ukraine may not be able to slow this advance and will require some sort of collective action by NATO to save Ukraine. 

Israel's attacks on Lebanon and Iran can be expected to be followed by some response from Iran. It may very well be limited to an attack on a single person similar to Israel's attacks on the heads of Hezbollah and Hamas. It is doubtful that Iran will initiate an all out attack on Israel at this time.

The escalation of the war in Ukraine is going to have repercussions in the middle east. Russia has warned the U.S. that long range missiles and F-16's will be countered by supplying weapons to those now in conflict with the U.S. It is very likely that anti-ship weapons will become available to the Houthes and may also end up in the arsenals of other mideast actors. U.S. ships are going to be a major target of any increased hostilities in the region.

While the major countries of the middle east have been avoiding all out war, it now seems unless some serious change of direction, there will be a regional war that may very well spring out of the control of everyone. 

The tit for tat policies of the region have kept the region on simmer for a long time, It seems any diplomacy to cool this off is lacking with no resolution to this long standing crisis. A major war in this region will be hard to extinguish, and it will have world wide repercussion in the economies of the world.

Israel will not insure its security through war.

 ESCALATION MAY SOON BECOME IRREVERSIBLE

KILLING ALL OPPOSITION IS NOT SOLUTION 

The Israeli, Palestinian issue has now reached a critical point that may end either in regional war, world war 3 or the end of Israel. Israel cannot solve this issue by war, by retaliation, or the hope to kill all its enemies. We have seen regime change wars in Iraq, and Syria that have not reduced Israel's threats. some believe that regime change in Iran will solve this issue or eliminating Hezbollah in Lebanon will provide more security.

There as yet has not been a serious effort to solve the dilemma of the west bank and Gaza with a population that is near equal to that of Israel. It is no secret that many in Israel hope to make Israel's borders those of the old testament times. This cannot happen under the present conditions. 

The world community has been pushing a two state solution, which most likely now can never happen, after the last years death and destruction, the divide between these people is deeper than ever.

There is indeed no easy answer to this question, but war with even the back up of the United States will not solve this issue. I suspect that Netanyahu's visit to the United States was to gain assurance from the United States that it would receive back-up of the United States in an all out war with Hezbollah and possibly Iran. An Israeli war with Hezbollah is not an a sure thing for Israel, a war with Iran could possibly end Israel as a functional state.

Then there is the trash talk by Israeli officials threatening Erdogan of Turkey with regime change threats. Telling Erdogan that he may receive the same fate as Saddam Hussein, which very much insinuates that Israel can persuade the United States to accomplish this task. as Israel does not have this capability.  Many of the leaders in the region are under enormous pressure by their citizens to intervene in the Gaza, they hope to keep that under control and Israeli threats may make that increasingly impossible. 

The answer to this problem is a solution, not war, and so far we never hear proposals for a solution. One would be to bypass the prevailing governments of Hamas and the Palestinian authority and deal directly with the present population to buy their real estate, even at a premium price, that would be far less costly than war and would give these people an option to leave the region. At present these people have not option but to live in constant fear washout any hope of a different life. I suspect that most would take any option that would get them out of the present situation.
