United States compared to largest European countries deaths.

UNITED STATES DOING WELL COMPARED TO EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

TOTAL DEATHS BY COMPARABLE POPULATION

US COVID-19 deaths surpass China's tally: study

As of today the United States has 28,554 deaths attributed to the Covid19 virus. We keep being told that we have the most deaths of any country in the world. This is another false story in that we are comparing a population of 325,000,000 to much smaller countries.

If you look at the 5  largest EU countries by population, that would consist of Germany, the UK, France, Italy, and Spain with a combined population of 323,000,000, they have total deaths of 74,096.  The United States death total is 39 % of this comparable populations total deaths.

While comparing deaths is a bit unsavory and any death is a sad event, it is the reality of our highly politicized world.

You would think you would have seen an honest analysis based on population, but you most likely will not. It is much more sensational and politically advantageous to report that we have the most deaths of any country.

We are actually doing relatively well compared to the rest of the world.
